This may already be a rumor that's been circulating among listeners of James Horner's music, but...

I was wondering if there may be a complete/expanded James Horner music score for a little-known 1988 George Lucas-produced, Ron Howard-directed sword-and-sorcery fantasy epic by the name of Willow, in existence somewhere.

You know, I'm talking about James Horner's complete/expanded music score for the 1988 fantasy film, Willow, with more ethnic woodwind cues (along with war drum beats during the part when Madmartigan's friend's army were passing by Willow, Madmartigan, Meegosh and the baby Elora Danan when Madmartigan was still in the cage) and stuff, but without all the dialogue and all the sound effects.

I was looking for it, based on that rumor that's been circulating elsewhere.

Can somebody please help me about this rumor?

I have heard nothing. Aside from the occasional dvd iso score, and Avatar, it is rare for complete horners to "leak"

I have never seen anything for sneakers other than the official album, not even a dvd rip.

I got a complete score from Willow few years ago, with SFX.... Quality sound is really not extraordinary, anyway I can upload it if you want...

I'm still waiting (hoping!!!) for a new Complete Score BluRay RIP (or a real Complete score!!)....I can't realise it myself unfortunately. May be someone, someday, will make it...

What do you mean exactly ? No new music in this edition ?

He means it is a similar release as the so-called Predator 2 Expanded. The long suites on the OST contain a lot of the separate cues merged. Someone went through, split the cues into different tracks and renamed them, creating an "expanded" edition. And strictly speaking, it is. But it may not contain more music as a whole or unreleased cues. Notice I say "may". I have not downloaded to listened yet, and am not familiar enough with the score to speak to that. JHFan is the man to ask.

A similar thing was done for Jaws 2 by a member here. She split the suites into separate cues and arranged them into chronological order. No real new music, but technically expanded. (And very listenable as that is the version I kept. :))

Now, now. I put this up fro free. I didn't make this cd. I bought it for €25! And shared it for free. IT FREE! Amanda, Thank you. Other person. Chill and listen. You want the real thing, ask James Horner :)

anthony, I was not complaining not criticising you. Simply speculating on the nature of "expanded" in some instances. As I said, I have not grabbed this or listened to it yet, so I cannpt possibly say anything about that.

If there is in fact no new music, and actually a lesser run-time, then it is a rip-off. Meaning the buyer got screwed over and it is a shame. I never like seeing anyone getting ripped off. The phrase "that's a shame" denotes a gesture of sympathy.....

I have the CD... The music you talk about is the End Credits... This is not EXACTLY the same version we can hear for the scene in the village... Watch the movie, then come back :)
