Well I might when the Archive is complete. Lynch is still releasing tracks every Friday or Saturday, this week's being 55. James Visits Laura, a track from FWWM. Next week is likely to be a bundle, two tracks or more. I'm uncertain as to how many more tracks there are to go till it's all released, or till Lynch deems it enough, but I'll hang on till then. You could always buy them.

What sort of thing, like put together an expanded/complete score? Given that there are now 100 tracks officially released for Twin Peaks and probably a few left to come, it's really quite an exceptional collection...

You can download it again, they send you the link to your email and you can use that as well as the "live" download from the David Lynch page when you first pay.

There are now 84 tracks in the Archive, so that brings the total of Twin Peaks officially released tracks to over 130. That's pretty damn awesome. And apparently there are still a few tracks left to go.

I seem to be having trouble opening these links they are coming up corrupted. Could it be I'm not using the correct program to open them? I tried 7-zip , Winzip and Rar. I'll keep trying , Thanks again.

I'm a Mac user, and I'm having trouble with all this. I've got the 6 files downloaded. Which component do I click on ?. I've tried the .zip file, and it just creates another one with a .cpgz extension. Opening that just gives me another .zip file.

If I try and open the .z01 file, and it gives me a .7z file of the same size as the .z01 file.

I've tried opening the sfv file, and it doesn't know how to open it.

Any guidance here ?.

As a Windows user, I've not any idea with Mac issues. Try to unzip every recurring file after opening the first .zip one, but I simply zipped a folder containing the 84 tracks, and splitting every 250 MB with ZIP classic compression (no the new ZIPX format).

Any other Mac user manage to access the data; and how ?.

Man of Destiny often uses these multi-part zip files, and I have no problem with those.

In his case, he uses .7z.001 thru .7z.008 for instance, but with no .7z or .zip components.

In that example, you click on the .7z.001 component and all the others are picked up and merged into it.

With your example, clicking on the .001 file does not link to the other components ?.

I have no problems with multi-part .rar files either.

Hey, bishty. Give The Unarchiver (http://wakaba.c3.cx/s/apps/unarchiver.html) a try.

It worked for me. Start with the .z01 part and it will extract them all.

This month's release is another 10 tracks, all from Fire Walk With Me and previously unreleased... It's just an incredible collection...

Yes they are a great collection - but why don't you lot support the artist and buy them - they are cheap

I have bought them, and as it's a small independent release I will not post it for others, just as I don't download anything from independents unless I'm waiting for the CD to arrive.

So what do you make of the Twin Peaks Archive? Some people are a bit annoyed about the number of repeated tunes - different versions of course - that have been released, but I love it. This has to be about the most comprehensive soundtrack release ever, I think (although check out The Goonies that Inferno Music Vault released). I'm curious how many tracks Lynch/Badalamenti still have left to put out.

I think most of the ones still to come will be from the Windom Earle episodes - I don't recall seeing too much from that era of the show... it's been so comprehensive though, am really pleased they're making the effort to get all this excellent music out to the public.

I dig the archive it's cool, yeah loads of repeats but I'm not complaining, I don't think there will be much left, as the releases are rather staggered now.
