(Thinks.)

You can get one from the Temple of the Ancients on Disk 1, with the clock face puzzle (I forget exactly which number you need to go through.) There's also a second one within Gaia's Cliff on Disk 2, well hidden.

I'm pretty sure you can morph an enemy to become a ribbon too. The Ho-Chu (the big flowery tendrical dude thing.) and the Tonberry (the final dungeon, if you've got that far.)

I can't find out where the Ho-Chu enemy is located on the world map, so I'm going to have to wait for someone to fill me in, and also fill in the gaps on the doors for where the ribbon is in the Temple of the Ancients. Sorry I can't help you anymore than this at the moment.

that tendrilly thing.. Don't you fight it in battle square??

Or was that the Marlboro thing?

No no I'm quite sure you fight the Ho-chu in battle square.

It uses 'pollen' and 'whip' - morph the ribbon off that, in the special battle.

If that's the only reason for your post, please refrain from it in the future. Only post if you've actually got something to say about the thread, umkay? If you would, please *edit* your post and make it worth that 100th post. Wouldn't that be much more satisfying? ^_~

However, if you fight the special battle with Yuffie with the COnformer equipped, you should be able to Morph the Ho-Chu for 9999HP damage in one attack.

And the Ribbon in the Temple of the Ancients was through door 4, I believe. (either that or door 5.) You can't move the rocks blocking some of the doorways, there's nothing behind them. :)

Ribbon can't be stolen. The way I've always done it is to morph Master Tonberries in the Northern Crater. (It's Master Tonberries, not regular Tonberries you can get the Ribbons from.)

are normal and Master Tonberry's both located in the same area, i've managed to notice a difference between them?

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">Normal Tonberries only appear in the Battle Arena. Master Tonberries are the ones in the Northern Crater that can be morphed into Ribbons. About the only visible difference is that the Master Tonberry has a star above its head. ;)

are master toneberry's stronger than the regular ones?

Agent0042

They're definitely stronger. They have more HP and regularly counter attacks with the strong counter "Everyone's Grudge."

sirithis

do they use the same counter as the ones off of ff10, because i think that 10's has everyone's grudg as a counter too

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">Yeah, the ones in FFX have that counter-attack too. It's called Karma in FFX, but it works in the same way. The damage caused by Everyone's Grudge is based on the amount of enemies that character has killed. So if someone has killed hundreds of enemies and then hits a Master Tonberry, then the Everyone's Grudge counter-attack could cause 9999HP damage. If they've hardly killed anything in the game, then it won't cause much damage at all.
