:D You make me smile.

You can have FFXI on your playstation2 as well as on your Pc, but it will be expensive though (Ofcourse, If you have too much money what stops you)
However you can't play FFXI Pc on the Ps2 network and vice versa. Pc = pc only network and ps2= playstation network.

Is that what you asked?

As for FFXI offline; NO.

I read that the world map takes up 4GB. Is that true? I got it from gamespot.
And is there anyway to play the game offline? I do not want to play with others and pay extra fees.

You cant play offline, and if you dont want to play with others dont get this game because thats the point of the game.

uh.....u gotta realize some of you, that the future of rpg's is more than likely internet based. More and more of them are becoming availiable and we should accept it. (my opinion). Personally, i get tired of pre-made, pre-decided AI. I love fighting real people with real brains for a real challenge.

Well not everyone has a good computer playing online games can be a problem when half of the people lag like hell. The problem for me is that my computer has only 6GB and if the map alone takes 4GB....... well you probably get what I'm saying.
