I strongly encourage anyone who likes this music to support the efforts of Monstrous Music in recreating these wonderful scores. This is a small label recreation of the original scores. These are not the original soundtracks. While I like seeing people interested in these titles, I just hope there are enough of us out there purchasing such great products to reward those who have put in so much effort in these recreations. They have many excellent CDs of note and the liner notes are INCREDIBLE. Hope I'm not coming off as preachy . . . that isn't my intent.

Thank you for sharing, stereoelf! :) I'm not sure if I've watched "Creature From the Black Lagoon" in its entirety or snippets but I'm familiar with the monster who I think is pretty cool. Sometime I'll get a hold of the film and watch it.

Two weeks ago, I saw B&W photos of the Gill-man costume with its designer on Tumblr. At the same time, I learned some man took a woman's credit for designing Gill-man for half a century! I'm glad Millicent Patrick is getting credit now. I uploaded the photos on Photobucket to post here but some had the Photobucket camera stamped on them and others didn't. So I'll just post the link of my Tumblr page where I reblogged the photos!
