But you can get sick of anything fun if you do it too much. It sounds to me like what you're saying isn't that the game sucks, but that it has little variety so it can get stale. I'm sure if you don't play for a long time and then come back it's fun again though.

I haven't played it in a really long time and I am still unable to play it without getting bored in a couple minutes. I can't imagine I'll ever want to play it the way it is now ever again.

It's not that I'm bored with it because I've played it too much, it's that they haven't done much to actually make Minecraft a game yet. I was pretty hyped about the game when it released because of what they could do with it rather than what it was. It was always just a work sim that didn't emphasise/reward exploration (or any other methods of gameplay beyond digging/construction...), but it seemed to me at the time that the update to change all that was just around the corner. It totally wasn't!!

Adventure Mode is shaping up to be what I wanted out of Minecraft though :)
