I smile, as her blood runs down my hand,
it drips, so quietly, into the parched sand...
And I kiss her, my love, as she leaves this life...
now mine forever... now for eternity, my wife...

I laugh as we dance,
under this dead crimson moon,
the foxtrot, a tango,
a bloody monsoon,
she's in tatters, she's gone,
she won't dance for long...
But I laugh and I cry,
for the right I have wronged...

She's gone but she's mine,
no one else can have her...
she's so lost, yet divine...
all mine to savour...

And as the tide flees us,
and it's shining red,
I lay with her, on the beach...
on our death bed...

I fling my bloodied liberator,
far out into the sea,
freedom it shall have,
but not my beauty...

For forever, and forevermore,
she shall always be mine,
as we drift under the waves,
and the reddish bloodied brine...

And I cannot stop laughing,
as we roll towards our end,
I giggle as I kiss her,
in the waves, we blend.

I close my eyes,
for eternity,
dear it's just you and me...
And I give her my last breath,
as we're born in the bloodied sea.

Great poem. It's quite long but it makes a good read anyway. Keep it up!

I like... no, I dont like - I love. :D It's a great poem, and I got interested in it because it's the kind of poems I like - long, earthy, and a mention or two of blood ;) good job!

Ah what a poem.

Never read something like that before. It instantly reminded me of a movie with overly obsession boyfriend/husband.

Great imagery, good word choice, and a nice ryhme.

Good work!
