This is interesting. I don't know the anime, but I never say no to symphonic OSTs. there are just so few of them today...

Thank you for sharing this :)
I'm not a big symphonic score fan but I'll give it a try. Some of Yoshihiro Ike's scores are really good.

Thanks for sharing this, orie! just in the last week, I've been discovering a bunch of Japanese, symphonic treasures on these forums, so always eager to check out new ones. I take it this one is performed by a full orchestra, and not the synth/cartoony/jazzy sound that lots of anime has? Also you mention traditional instruments, if you mean ancient Japanese instruments like koto/taiko/shakuhachi, them I'm all in!

I wasn't really that enamored by this on first listen. It has some nice cues but also a lot of traditional Japanese music and other source cue sounding stuff. I'll have to revisit it later.

At firs I was not in the mood for it too. Have to admit, but after I re listen it, it really sounds wonderfull. :)

Thank you for the upload ^^ I have been looking for this quite long now. If you own the original CD, could you rip it as .flac format also? Can't find a lossless rip anywhere.
