You did nothing wrong...it's just that mostly likely no one has it.
Lossless anime soundtracks are not that easy to come by (especially older ones).
Requesting does not guarantee instant fulfillment...sadly.

I believe I have a copy of the soundtrack ripped as mp3s @ 192 Kbps, but no lossless copy I'm afraid. But let me know if you'd still like it!interested!
