Does anyone happen to have ripped both isolated scores featured on the recent Bluray disc? I know music is licensed by Varese so hopefully we could trade through PM. Many thanks in advance!

Don't worry my friends, I'm hard at work on this one ... this is gonna be a new 3 disc set: CD 1: Complete Theatrical Score, CD 2: Isolated Score and CD 3: Additional Material which contains tracks from the Deluxe album that aren't present and edited differently on the first 2 discs and some surprises ... like this one, please listen in HD: removed

Inccidentially, I'm also at work on a new Alien 3 album and will have material from the assembly cut ... this is what I've come up with so far, please listen in HD: removed

Babydoll's right, check out the vids on my Youtube uploads wall: http://www.youtube.com/user/theblondeidentity

I am confused again. Isn't the Deluxe the complete score as written by Horner. JHFan certainly seems to think so. Yes, the score as presented is different. I have the iso rip. It was posted here a short while before being taken down. Or, was that a dvd rip? Either way, what is different that is not on the Deluxe? Aside from , say, recording sessions, where would additional score come from.

Oh, and I advise bookmarking that youtube page, as any linking to any music from the film in any form is forbidden (varese), and once discovered, that link will be removed.

My third disc contains material that isn't present on the first 2 discs along with tracks from the deluxe edition that are unedited and / or run shorter.
Example: if you have the iso score and the deluxe edition, Going After Newt - (ISO) 2:59, (Album) 3:20. LV-426 (aka The Sulaco) - (ISO) 1:15, (Album) 2:03. Resolution and Hyperspace / End Titles - (ISO) 5:38, (Album) 6:30

Of the 18 tracks on disc 3, there are 8 tracks from the deluxe version. 5 are presented in their uncut album versions, 2 percussion versions and the alternate ending. I took the liberty of adding the Jerry Goldsmith tracks that made up the 'Escape' track at the end of the film. The remaining tracks are new, one of which I've posted on Youtube as a little advertisement

I'm a completist and I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to putting these things together, I'm not happy til I think I have everything I can find and if it means having a track in different edits like movie version, alt version, album version, so be it ... cos I'm mad that way hahahaha ... I never looked at the deluxe edition as complete, I felt that there was stuff missing

Does either of your rips feature an alternate version of Bishop's Countdown? I've edited my own version years ago that was a mixture of the Varese album and a rare (what-was-called) "complete score" with a few extra alter cues NOT found on the Varese album and I have yet to see that cue pop up anywhere else.

Well, yes, there is stuff missing. It is just complete as Horner wrote it, but that was chopped, blended, looped, irradiated and generally treated like a 2 dollar hooker in the alley. The tracked in some other music to augment the beating.....

DK, the album is Varese, can't be posted. Varese put out the deluxe, and Sanico says if they do that, no music from it can be posted, not even a dvd rip...

But......I.....didn't post anything music...

I'm well aware Aliens is Varese. The link that I posted is me saying it's the link that Shadoko posted. I check Lost Scores everyday, and have been wanting that version of Aliens

Sorry guys even if we link to an outside forum we are still responsibles of what happens in our forum. And since it's from a forbidden label we can't post it openly.
