Really? It was the film that knocked Titanic off the number 1 spot. It made over a $100 million. I thought it lasted for a bit at least.

This movie was abysmal. Like "Enemy Mine" and "Batman and Robin" the director was more concerned with making the film look like a literal comic book with over styled looks than with story. The best thing about it was Broughton's score but that was tempered by all those lousy songs.

Bad sets, bad effects, bad production design, bad casting, bad writing... It just plain sucked.

For me the film was O.K. until they crashed on that planet. And I do like the album ;)

No. Not a good film. Not nearly as bad as I expected it to be. It kept moving, was funny where it should be, took some stupid long assumptions, but not anything goofier than the original. Saw it once in the theater and have no compulsion to see it again.

Bah! I loathed this movie and refuse to have anything to do with it! It's a desecration to everything the original series stood for. A dysfunctional Robinson family? Indeed!

Incredible how many fans hate the movie but love a show that started out great and degenerated into total crap in the second season. The movie isn't nearly as bad as the dregs of the TV series.

Actually, if you put all the ingredients of the movie together (great effects, hot and cold acting, flimsy characters, bad plot that makes no sense, lots of action) you get...the TV series. Bah indeed!
