The other did not break a forum rule. It was a personal issue, and Tak pulled the link for personal reasons. It had nothing to do with admin. It was personal. And probably ought remain so, as the two members invoved seem to have let it go.

Can someone please make like a legit cover for this? The "expanded" cover being shown above is crap. There is a pretty good one on the site "You Still Know The Score", but it too has the word "expanded" on it, which this is not. It's the shot of Freddy crossing his hands over one another looking down with a grin on his face. If someone with skill (obviously not me, or else I would not be asking) could replace the word "expanded" with "Recording Sessions", I would be happy.

Lol never mind, I found a good one that someone here made, I think. It's Freddy standing in front of the Springwood Diner before he kills Dean. I like it!

it would be really great if we could bring this thread back to life. tried to track down the recording sessions here and anywhere else for quite a while and it turned out to be hopeless. thing is, i didn`t expect anything good to come out of this remake so i just didn`t watched it until recently, having heard that it`s not bad at all. and as all of you in here know, this movie is a good one in its own right, which doesn`t deserves it to be criticized just as being not as good as the original. it adds more filth and brutality to it, thus transporting it accuratly into the present. same applies to the music, which stands tall against any comparisons with the masters (Bernstein, Young).
so, all this took me a while to figure out as i hesitated too long and now all the links are dead. boohoo!
(i got the 18-track album release, but i`m quite unhappy with it as it runs under 50 minutes and has at least two tracks on it that don`t make sense to me (at least not in this running order) notably this "punk or whatever" - inspired "One More Nap". where is that in the film?)
come on guys, do us all a favour and present a reup! pleeaasse!

I may not like the Remake or all that was involved in it. But the Music composer has No Blame for the Disaster that this Remake was. He was just the guy that did the Music for it.
As a collector of Film Soundtracks & as an Elm Street Fan. I would like it if I could have this soundtrack to complete My Elm Street music Collection. :)
