hi
i am stuck on Lady Yunalesca at Zanarkand Dome inside The Temple Of Fayth where she casts zombie and then kills u with curaga/ cura/ regen etc.......i need some pointers...this has gotta be the hardest fight so far:(

my health:

Auron: 4000-4200
Tidus: 2800-3000
Yuna: 2200-2400

Stock up on Holy Waters to counter his Zombie attack. Make sure before you head into battle all your Aeons are in overdrive. This will make things easier. If you can start of by casting hastega which allows you to hit more often. I suggest using strong melee attacks and the overdrives of the Aeons. The reason you need to have them in overdrive is simple, Seymour has a move that will instantly kill any Aeon and will always use it. After you let all your Aeons use theird overdrive use strong magic and support/recovery magic. Keep using melee attacks for best results.

Almost all bosses in the game can easily be beaten by using all of your aeons' ODs. So, you should try and do that. Get all 5 (6 if you have Yojimbo but his OD is not very helpful) of your aeons to their OD by having them fight around on Mt. Gagazet. You could also get all of your characters into their ODs, just in case you need them. I think 5 Aeon ODs (which should do about 5000+ each time) and Wakka's Attack Reels is more than enough to kill Seymour.

If you still have trouble, consider training for awhile. Also keep trying, you might get lucky once and actually beat him... :)

on 3rd, where she does mega death (or 2nd, can't remember) DO NOT heal ur zombie characters, megadeath doesn't kill zombies, just ressurect ur characters rather than using items, save them for if you REALLY need them. At least, thats what I think.

Maybe you should custimize someone with Auto-Med to cure the person whenever he/she is inflicted by zombie.......but when you get to the last form do not heal the zombie status or you get killed by her Mega-Death attack

wait a sec. before you said you needed help with Seymour #3. now you need help with Yunalesca... which one is it?

firstly i needed help with Seymour Flux....but i hav beaten him thanks to ur help....i am now struggling with Yunalesca

shes actually quite easy. i beat ehr in a nsg (no sphere grid) game. imagine that with all minimum stats.... ;)

i only have tips:

DO NOT cure zombie. no matter what

save you aeons for the last form. make sure they have overdrives before battle.

make sure you have hastega. its soooo much easier

now, just follow other peoples strategies and you should do fine. and if you cant beat her, keep trying. i know it sucks to watch the talking and shit over and over.....

I think I beat Yunalesca more by luck than my skill...

Power up all your Aeon overdrives beforehand, and then power up each of your character overdrives beforehand. Also, zombie guard armour can be customised if you have enough Holy Waters (albeit with 50% chance of blocking, but it helps.)

The first form should be easy enough - use Auron's power break, armour break, magic break abilities and then pound her with your most powerful attacks. Second form, use a couple of the lower level Aeon Limit breaks, saving Bahamut and possibly Shiva for later. Zombie can be cured if you so desire, but it often slows down the whole battle process, and you're going to run out of holy waters unless you really stock up.

The third form, unless everything. Summon Bahamut in his overdrive, dismiss him, use Yuna's overdrive and recall him in Overdrive again and use it again. Use your character's overdrives, and try to keep alive (don't worry about curing zombie, wait for one of them to drop dead, bring them to life, then quickly use potions before zombie gets cast on them.)

Oh, and you can't heal your characters whilst you're in zombie. You've either (A) Gotta hope their hit points don't decrease at the same rate or (B) Cure zombie and heal one character so that their hit points remain above zero when the other two fall.

... I hope this helps. Best of luck to you, this battle is a pain, but it is winnable. If need be, go back to the Ruins beforehand and level up.

Megadeath will cast death on all your characters but it usually only kills one of 'em, sometimes two. If any person is in Zombie status, then Megadeath will always miss that person... I think that a when a person dies, s/he loses his/her Zombie status so all you have to do is ressurect that person a they're cured w/o Zombie... I dunno if Zombie stays on a person when they die or not...

Keep trying, you'll beat her eventually.
