It would gladden Bernard Herrmann's heart to see the sheer number not only of threads devoted to his scores here but also the number of reply messages on each thread. The music of some of his contemporaries has dated quite a bit but Herrmann always seems very much a part of the contemporary world, regardless of decade.

Hi tri2061990. thanks for the re-up. But it seems that the rar file is damaged. There's a problem when unrar the file. And only 6 tracks in the rar file. Anyone has similar problems?

You can repair it by winrar, I put recovery record in every .rar file I uploaded.

First of all: Thanks for sharing.

Now, for all those having trouble unpacking this, here's how you do it:
1. Spend 2 min to google, d/l, and install WinRAR.
2. Open (not extract) file with WInRAR.
3. From Menu choose "Extras", then "Repair Archive"
4. Be patient. This may take a while.

Once the archive is repaired you can unpack it as you always do. Track 6 does indeed seem to be damaged beyond repair, everything else works just fine.

At one time I had some of the series on LP, but it's great now to have them in a more amenable format, and I think I now have the full set. Wonderful music, and I'm very impressed with Gerhardt's command of the styles.
