Title says it all really.

Before I got a PS3 and the ability to play (mostly the COD series) online, I used to try and 100% games all the time. Especially big RPGs, the most obvious of these being the Final Fantasy games. But stuff like Metal Gear and Dragon Quest were also in there.

I don't give trophy hunting enough time or dedication like I wish I would. I always end up back on a FPS. Sometimes I'll stick at a game if I'm really enjoying it, but 90% of the time I end up putting it aside and not playing it anymore. I think if I had more people who were interested in getting the trophies and achievements, it would be a form of motivation to keep playing the games to 100% them.

So, to sum up. Would anyone be interested in starting a thread/group dedicated to Trophies/Achievements? We could list the games we are currently playing and what percent complete we are? Maybe it's a horrible idea and nobody will be up for it. But I thought I'd try since I keep failing to stick to a game for any lengthy period of time.

Yes, I suppose you would call me an achievement hunter. I don't care about a high gamerscore, but I do care about completing my games 100%.

I try to collect all trophies for a PS3 game as I can. Some I won't be able to do because I admit that I'm not good enough to do unlock it. Prime example would be Marvel vs Capcom 3. I'm sitting at 95%. I'm not able to unlock two trophies since I cannot do a majority of the harder "Missions" to unlock those two, which sucks since it's only those two that I need to get the Platinum one. :-(

Well, I'm not a fan of online gaming. So any game that has MP Achievements/Trophies, is one that I will never get full completion on.

But generally, I find that Trophies etc help me to love games that I already love, that much more. It gives me another reason to play them, and to engage with them in a way other than just trying to complete them. They don't however make me want to play games that I don't like, just for the sake of having some more trophies.

Getting 100% completion or even close to that, is really hard on some games. Because different games will award Gold Trophies or 100+ Gamerscore Achievements for pretty easy stuff, whereas others will make you put in 50+ hours or more, just to get a Silver or a 35G Achievement.

Plus, I'm a pretty patient guy, but there's just no way I'm ever going to get 'Collect every item in the game' in the various JRPGs I have. Its an absurdly tall order to ask, pretty much requiring you to have and be constantly following a Guide to make sure you miss nothing, quite apart from the huge task of simply going everywhere, killing every monster with unique items, crafting, synthing, finding every treasure chest, doing every side quest etc etc etc.

But there are a handful of games that I've stuck to my task, until I finally got every last Trophy and Achievement. So here they are, my 'all done!' list. Its not a big list, I'm the first to admit to it, but I'm still pretty pleased whenever I see them in my menu.

Xbox 360:
Mass Effect.
Bioshock.
Dragon Age: Origins.
Condemned: Criminal Origins.
Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion.
Deadly Premonition.

PS3:
Fallout 3.
Heavy Rain.
Dead Space.

I'm closing in on Fallout: New Vegas at the moment. I just need to get 'The Courier who broke the Bank', but that's such a swine to get. You need to win loads in gambling, and for that you really need high LCK - a stat that my characters always have basically zero in!

Those are some good games to have fully completed. Especially Fallout 3.

My problem is that I end up going onto COD and playing that for hours on end. I always say "I'll have a couple games of this then jump on Fallout/Dead Space 2/Crysis 2 ", but I always stay on COD till the time I've got for gaming is over. I think the best thing for me to do is to sell my COD games. I have got 100% and Platinum Trophy for all of them except Black Ops. And that's only cause it's no longer possible since the last patch. (which, i might add, is absolute bullshit)

Anyway, today I'm off to my Dad's and I'll be there till Sunday. I'm gonna leave all my COD games here at home. And I'll see how much I get done on other titles. I'm thinking, Fallout 3/New Vegas and Crysis 2.

Vrykolas, what is your PSN? I'll add you when I'm next online the PS3.

Congratulations on the Bioshock! That's on my incomplete list. All I would need to do is beat the game on hard without dying. I started doing it, but stopped quarter way through the game because I wanted to play other games. Still need to go back and do that, but I procrastinate.

These are my 100% completed games on Xbox 360 (this includes all downloadable content achievements).
01) Assassin's Creed
02) Assassin's Creed 2
03) Banjo Kazooie
04) Battlefield 1943
05) Dead Rising 2
06) Dead Rising 2: Case West
07) Dead Rising 2: Case Zero
08) Halo Reach
09) Hitman: Blood Money
10) Left 4 Dead 2
11) Lego Batman
12) Lego Indiana Jones 2
13) Lego Star Wars 2: The Original Trilogy
14) Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
15) Perfect Dark
16) Prince Of Persia
17) Splinter Cell: Conviction
18) Splinter Cell: Double Agent
19) Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix
20) Tenchu Z
21) TMNT: Turtles In Time Re-Shelled
22) Uno

The first Left 4 Dead REALLY should be #23 on this list since I completed the required tasks, but this game has a reputation for corrupt dlc achievements. I had L4D on 100%, and then Crash Course came out with its busted achievements. Worked on that for a while, finished 100% AGAIN, then The Sacrifice came out with the same problem. Now I am stuck with 63/65... What a sad story!

Anyway, these are my Xbox games that are near completion (also including dlc). This is just a matter of 10 or less achievements.
01) Halo 3: ODST -- 10 more
02) Saints Row -- 9 more
03) Grand Theft Auto IV -- 8 more
04) Lost Planet: Extreme Condition -- 8 more
05) Army Of Two -- 7 more
06) Halo 3 -- 6 more
07) Battlefield: Bad Company 2 -- 5 more
08) Feeding Frenzy -- 5 more
09) Portal: Still Alive -- 5 more
10) Biohazard 5 -- 5 more
11) Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood -- 3 more
12) Final Fight: Double Impact -- 3 more
13) Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 -- 3 more
14) Bioshock -- 2 more
15) Deadliest Warrior -- 2 more
16) Dead Rising -- 2 more
17) Left 4 Dead -- 2 more
18) Saints Row 2 -- 1 more
19) Streets of Rage 2 -- 1 more

My remaining 18 games are far from completion, so I won't list them here. Two of them I haven't even finished playing yet. A few of them I've played once or twice through and haven't picked them up again. But the majority of my incompleted games are games that I borrowed from someone and unlocked one or two achievements and really have no intention of finishing. So for the most part, my games are complete.

How about the rest of you? Does anyone need any multiplayer assistance to complete any of the aforementioned games? I would be willing to help with some of the ones I finished, and I sure could use a hand with my near-completed ones. Let me know if you do.

Depends on the game for me but usually I'm not because I can care less about them really. Sure they can add replay value, but for me there needs to be more than just achievements/trophies for me to replay a game.
