RIDGE RACER 3D DIRECT AUDIO extra disc, SREX-0009 is out there somewhere as it was a free bonus disc w/ game purchase on May 1st, 2011.

As for the compression level, it just makes the audio files smaller the higher the number. Anything from 5 to 8 should be good. ;) Thanks again! :)

I can go from the actual discs to mp3 at 320 kBps. How can I make them VBR -0? You tell me what you need, my Friend and I'll do my best.

I'm still learning about these different audio formats. I thought I was cookin' with gas when I found out about MIDI back in the day...

If you can rip 320kbps. that is CBR (constant Bit Rate), you can choose VBR (variable bit rate) somewhere in that program you use too. Just put to VBR high quality, where it will be automatically -V 0. :)

ok, i ripped them to 0 VBR mp3s straight from the disc. i'm not sure if they stayed at 320kbps, so let me know how they turn out.

I am sorry to say that I do not have my original discs or cases with me at this time. All of my OSTs are back home in the US as I am currently stationed here in Japan for the next couple of years. I always PCS with minimal personal effects if I can help it. I'll do my very best to remember the scans for this OST and some others when I return for the holidays...

I remember when this particular OST released with this extra disc, as I purchased two sets from CDJapan. I even tried to sell my un-opened pair for a while with no success. I'll get these scans for eveyone somehow (if I can find someone to go thru my storage area)...
