There's a thread just like this in the anime, only it's for anime. This one is for which couples in RPG's you think do/would look good together. or, which RPG couples do you WISH to be together?

I think Kieth and Margarette would go good together because whenever they stand next to eachother in the game, they just look like they would go perefctly together.

Breath of Fire 4
I think Ryu and Nina would have went good together, but instead, Nina liked Cray. no fair >:|

Final Fantasy 10
I think Wakka and Rikku would have gone good together.. even if Wakka is older than Rikku*cough*. I used to think TIDUS*barf* would have gone good with Rikku instead of Yuna, cause Rikku and Tidus were both "WOO-HOO". And plus, Rikku saved Tidus's life at the beginning of the game.. but then again, none of those losers deserve Rikku.

Suikoden
Nanami and Jowy would have made a good couple because falling in-love with your best friend's sister/brother is such a classic romance.

Hmm... RPG couples... Lemme see.

***SPOILERS***

GRANDIA 2:-

The infamous love triangle that was Ryudo, Elena and Millenia. Of course, we never did find out if Ryudo got with either of them at the end of the game, but his positioning made it so that the eventual end of the game came about.

GRANDIA:-

Justin and Feena were an okay couple, Mullen and Leen had an even more tragic love story, made happier by the end of the game.

WILD ARMS:-

Jack and that demon woman. Sorry, I forget her name now, but she was turned into one of the demon army, and Jack has to constantly battle her, to the point of almost slaying her. Then, later on in the game, Jack and the party come upon her, and he has to agree to her living at the cost of her memory of becoming a demon (and thus her memory of him.)

SUIKODEN:-

Adding on to the previous couple mentioned, Flik and Odessa were a couple, if my memory stands corrected, but Odessa dies in the first five hours of the first game. Therefore, Flik spends the remainder of two games living in the shadow of that memory, and even garnering the attentions of someone unwanted in the second one, and not knowing how to deal with it.

My favorite couples...

Cloud and Aeris - FFVII
Cecil and Rosa - FIV
Squall and Rinoa - FFVII
Celes and Locke - FFVI
Elly and Fei - Xenogears

No one else really.

I can say that I have no doubts in my mind when I say that my favorite couple is Rinoa and Squall. They are more in love with each other than any other RPG couple I have ever seen.

I also think that Zidane/Garnet, Crono/Marle, and Sora/Kairi are good couples too.

Hmm, so many. Well, here's a few I liked that I can remember off the top of my head.

Cecil and Rosa, FFIV. (The first real great RPG love story. With Kain's jealousy over his love for Rosa turning into total hate and betrayal, it provided the model for the Squall/Seifer and Rinoa love triangle in FFVIII.)
Celes and Locke, FFVI
Cloud and Tifa, FFVII
Zidane and Garnet, FFIX.
Crono and Marle, Chrono Trigger
Link and Zelda, The Legend of Zelda (all series)
Setzer and Daryl, FFVI
Fei and Elly, Xenogears
Laguna and Raine, FFVIII.
Ryo and Nozomi, Shenmue (okay, so it's not really an RPG (more an action adventure), but it the freedom of one. That, and I thought those two were made for each other...)

I pretty much like every given character couple outcome out there. I never really disagreed or with any other two would come together like so, but that's just me. XD

I never really ever disagreed with any couples either. My favorite couple was Locke and Celes from FF6. Alot of drama there.

I think that the best couples were rinoa/squall, cloud/tifa, sora, kairi and zidane/garent:cool:

I can agree with that too.

The couples I like (Think should be together) are:

FFVII- Cloud and Aeris

FFIX- Zidane/Garnet and Eiko/Vivi

Kingdom Hearts- Sora/Kairi

FFX- Tidus/Yuna

FFX-2- Paine/Nooj

I think the funniest relationship thing would have to be

FF X-2- Leblanc and Nooj

Leblanc praised Nooj and then he "dissapeared" and she was crying at his statue lol

Well, I personally think Tidus and Yuna are the best RPG couple that I've ever seen.They mesh well together, and their story is pretty deep.

keith and margarette?? well its a posiblity.......how come kieth is a vamp. but doesnt drink blood? i think he tells you, but i cant rember...need to play it over.....

Tidus and rikku....i thought they would be good together too...did you see how he looked at her when she was stripping(mind you, so would any guy XD)

Ryodo and Millienia.....i thought they 2 were great together, plus she wasnt as stuck up and wimpy as Elena *cough*

Justin and sue.....they're ages may be quite spread, but i think they make a good couple

zell and selfie.......i dunno..they are both very hyper and happy-go-lucky, and would go well together
Rinoa and irvane.....i dunno why these 2 either...just seems to fit is all

In spite of how much I love FFVI, I've never really been a big fan of the Locke/Celes pairing. Something about it has never felt right to me. Oh well.

Probalby because no one else here has played that part of Valkyrie Profile where that optional part of the story is revealed?

But yeah, there's Lucian and Lenneth.

For that matter, Arngrim and Jelanda/Angela. Or any of the other little side-story characters in Valkyrie Profile where two lovers were seperated by Death/Valkyrie in order to take on the Vanir at Ragnarok.

Mine would easily go to Squall and Rinoa from FF8. Aside from it being my favorite game of all time, the story was mainly about the love between them.
