In a word, yes.

Dominic Frontiere is one of the most underrated film composers in my opinion. His western style score for "Chisum" was fantastic, which incidentally also starred Christopher George (Sgt. Sam Troy of "The Rat Patrol").

I love his music for Hang�em High (The Clint Eastwood western)
Also his scores for The Outer Limits, The Fugitive and The Invaders

Wildwood, thank you! What a marvellous post. Somehow in my memory I recall hearing clips of Outer Limits and/or Invaders music as I watched the show but this collection seems to be entirely original music. And after dumping on the liner notes that accompanied some other album, have to say that these liner notes are really interesting. Had no idea Rat Patrol was so highly rated but was killed by suits who thought it was too expensive, or that Alex North did an original soundtrack. Went over to LLL's site and listened to the North samples. Not nearly as good as Frontiere's. Can't really figure out just what is on LLLs second volume that isn't on this first album, that anyone would want. This is a really fun soundtrack. Again, thanks so much for the opportunity of hearing it and the time and trouble so we could read about it, too. Maybe LLL will re-release this one someday!
