I think the biggest complaint of mine would be the missed opportunities with the GLADOS potato. I really liked going through the testing areas with her stuck to the end of the Portal device, but I really think she needed more dialogue. It was just too quiet at times and I really wished she would talk more. I mean she's usually pretty talkative (even though she usually insults Chell's weight), so it was just awkward for her to be so silent. :(

I think I remember her saying that using her functionalities too much would result in her shutting down (you understand, she's being powered by a potato).

For me, the biggest disappointment was the difficulty. All the previews and trailers made this game look insanely difficult. And with so many new mechanics there could have been plenty of opportunities to make extremely devious puzzles. If not in the story mode, make challenge rooms of some sort, like in Portal 1. The only problem I ever had in any puzzle was finding a surface to place a Portal on... I don't know, either they toned down the difficulty a bit, or I'm just a huge genius.

Also, Cave Johnson is awesome.

I don't think her being powered by a potato should have mattered with just talking normally. She ended up turning off after 'emotional' outbursts but she was just fine after "YEAH! TAKE THE LEMONS!".

Anywho, I agree with it being too easy (on single player at least). There were only maybe 5 things I had to retry on. I know I missed quite a few easter eggs though :(.

The co-op seemed harder to me. It took me and my bf 2 sittings to go through it. I think what contributed to that being harder though is that one person can't see the whole chamber at a time. We took turns at running all over the place and figuring it out :p

Haven't tried the co-op and probably won't anytime soon. I only rented it. I want to ask, does it have a story of some sort? Atlas and P-body showed up in the end of the single-player so I assume it directly follows that? Also, I heard the ending of the co-op campaign sort of hinted at another Portal game. Is that true?

Ya it kind of has a story. Do you want to know the end of it? I'll tell you if want.

I heard rumor that Valve wants to try to eliminate single player for their future games. Anyone else hear that?

Yeah, but it's only a rumor. And probably a mistinterpreted one at that. There aren't any official statements from Valve, so don't be quick to judge.

Better if you don't tell me the ending. I'll probably end up playing the co-op eventually. Just wanted to know if it hints at Portal 3.

I was going through and getting some achievements I missed on the first run and just got the Lady in the Portrait one.........

also, TAKE THE LEMONS! is probably my favorite line, along with a bunch of stuff that is said right when glados wakes up. the wrath behind it is just so amazing and chilling.
