I would guess that "Otherworld" is what's being talked about here, right? Are you referring to the one that plays when you first see Sin attack Zanarkand and also during the final boss battle?

It's sung by some guy named Alexander O. Smith. Nobuo Uematsu, FF's main composer wrote the lyrics and did the music for the song.
