So far it's only available at e-Capcom site, so in order to buy it, you need to use a middle-man japanese buying services, who will order/receive/and re-deliver an item for ya.

On that page look to the right (scroll a bit, if you need) and you should see "PASSWORDS".

Sometimes you dont need words to explain something.

I mean,what a dumb question was that ?

Its like all those "wheres the Pass" question, when the answer is right there...but people want everything on a silver table.

Why a password? So those who might try to open the archive can't see what's in it (that is if the content is crypted)... Sometimes it helps, but a few filehosting services don't allow to upload archives protected by passwords, assuming they're sure to have illegal content in them (example: MediaFire, unless they changed again their ToS).

Well obviously it's to keep people out of it. But my question was how does it help in the context of our illegal file sharing? Do they have people constantly opening the stuff that gets uploaded to their service, and a pass worded archive is less likely to be deleted? I don't know, I was just confused on how it helped in this context. As you said, it seems like passwording it makes it more suspicious are more likely to get deleted.

But apparently spoiled Austrian children find that question offensive.

Also, DBGT sucks, you ass. :P You have no taste. Go ahead and put me on your ignore list. I'll return the favor.

I don't know how the system actually works, but for what I read the filehosters services might have some kind of bot/spider which scans the archive and its content, automatically deleting it if suspicious filenames/formats/etc. are detected. Passworded archives might prevent them from doing that, but I personally don't think it's worth the hassle... Sometimes the password doesn't work properly: it might extract part of the archive's content and then show you a message saying that password is wrong for that particular file.

The most important thing everyone should add to the archive, when uploading it, is "Recovery record"... With that the end-user might try to repair a corrupted archive. Both sides are happy: The uploader doesn't - hopefully - have to repeat the upload process, and the user gets what he/she wants.

Well, I'd say the 'real good Resident Evil' stopped coming out since REmake and Zero for gamecube.
These days they are action oriented too much. It is amazing to see where it all began and how far we've come.
Just like everything else RE had to evolve, and with the flow of time become faster, run-and-gun, pick-up-and-play type of experience... which is still can be a lot of fun, but it's not the same, not survival horror anymore.
The developers are obviously trying really hard to connect old games with the this new breed, by making the time and setting of the originals to be the background scene for the new recent titles.

I know this is probably a very unpopular opinion, but i will always defend the old school biohazard games, and would really love to see a new installment, directed by Shinji Mikami himself, with new awesomly designed HD pre-rendered backgrounds, for PS3 or 360.

Hopefully when I'll get rich, will buy the whole Capcom and run it my way, with an iron fist!

Oh come one,the REmake was not bad,iT could get worse.(HD REmake of 2 would be still a dream)
And on Zero, the only thing i didnt like was the whole leech thing.

For me,RE went bad with RE4 and the whole "Leon is the ultimate you cant touch this bad ass super Hero" and then on RE5 "Wesker just goes crazy and ends up in a big blop and gets shot by rocket"

You can see the same direction on Silent Hill, since Silent Hill 3,everything went worse....Homecoming and so on.

Yes, thats what I meant -- the 'good' games include from RE1 to RE, sorry for not being clear enough.
Pretty much everything with pre-rendered backgrounds was the franchise's golden era.
And I think the last true Biohazards were REmake and Zero, thats what was meant to be said.

HD REmake of 2nd one IS a dream... that requires a lot of iron fist!!!

This much is true; it's much closer to something like Aliens (which could be considered 'action horror')... not that this is a bad thing. Should be interesting to see how well the devs make that work while maintaining the overall atmosphere RE games are known for. Also wondering how the story - aside from any possible what-if divergences - will tie into the established canon.

Yes, RE/Biohazard practically defined survival horror; the problem is that some folks have come to think that's all the franchise has room for.

Resident Evil 4 was a damn awesome game in its day, RE was getting stale when RE3 came out. if anything RE4 pretty much saved the RE series, but then RE5 ruined it again LOL!!!

and speaking as a Silent Hill lover, what was wrong with Homecoming?? it was a damn good game and the last TRUE SH game we'll possibly ever see

people are so divided on this game, i never understood why people rag on Homecoming yet they praise crap like Silent Hill Shattered Memories, NOW THATS a crappy Silent Hill game
