When you have the WAV files, you must not alter them in any way. Just burn them to a CD-R and do not use any crossfading or 2-second pauses, or anything of the sort.

Playback is possible on any CD or DVD player with a digital output connected to your 5.1 home theater system, provided your 5.1 receiver is DTS compatible, which most modern receivers from the past 15, 16 years are.

Been looking for the .iso for ages. I got a good price for my copy, but sold it about a month before acquiring a modded PS3 :-(
Same goes for Zorro.

I have the Legend of Zorro SACD which I used to make multichannel WAV files the analog way using an SACD player with analog outputs. Took playing it three times and synching the pairs of channels together (made the center and LFE a stereo pair). Never had a modified PS3 or anything and I don't have the SACD player anymore (had to give it up along with a lot of other things in life)

I still have the original multichannel FLAC files for A Beautiful Mind I used to make the stereo downmix and DTS WAV files, but they are just like I said they were in the opening of the thread: DULL. Dull, flat recording.

That's why I cleaned it up. I added a soft high-pass filter to liven up the clarity a little, and it brought out a LOT of details in the mix that are a joy to hear compared to the original. It was a very simple solution and it worked wonderfully.

You can't put DTS-WAV files in Audacity without extracting the embedded DTS audio stream and loading that into Audacity.

DTS-WAVs are meant to be burned to a CD (as a standard audio CD) and played on a CD or DVD player with a digital output to a receiver that can decode the DTS stream. Either that, or (what I sometimes do) is adjust the audio and music settings on a PS3 for playing back DTS-CDs and DTS-WAV files.
