The Nightmare Before Christmas [Expanded Deluxe Edition]

62 tracks, MP3 CBR 192 kbps / 44.100kHz / Joint stereo | 161 mn | 231 Mb

Composed by Danny Elfman. Released in 1993.

Note: This release was created by using the The Nightmare Before Christmas disc from the USB drive in the 25th Anniversary Music Box Set and the bonus discs floating around here. Before you all decide to pound me with requests, this is the only score out of the set that I have. There will inevitably be a higher quality rip available later on down the line from someone else but for now this is the best I can do until I can miraculously find 500 bucks on the spot. Also, the tracks may appear all jumbled up but they are all properly tagged. I just ran out of time to change all the filenames as well as the tags. Hope you all enjoy!

OH MY GOD YES!!! But wait, so you've combined all the NBC stuff that was on the various discs and the USB drive? I can't believe there are 62 tracks!! Did you get this from somewhere else, because I've been searching around today looking for this and can't find it. I just want...well, I guess disc 6 by itself.

Yeah, it's pretty insane. Well, when you download this just delete after track 31 and that's pretty much disc 6 for ya. I also added some source cues (like the Jingle Bells and Here Comes Santa Claus cues on the bonus album since they are actually featured in the film) to the actual film score listing.

I got it from a close and personal friend. They were kind of hesitant to share it with me but after enough begging and pleading they finally let me copy that one album from the USB drive because it was really the only one I truly wanted out of the set.

It's still not complete though believe it or not. It's still missing the short cue after Jack runs into the pole after "What's This?" and seeing Santa's shadow on the wall and I believe the cue where the Mayor goes to Jack's house to go over the near year's Halloween plans only to find Jack missing. I could be wrong about the second one though.

You are actually right. But there is more missing than that. We still don't have the film version intro--which was not done by Patrick Stewart or Danny Elfman. And the Christmas Eve Montage would be complete if it weren't for one missing ten-second long insert. Also the film versions of other songs are still different like Poor Jack, where the inflection in his voice is different in several parts.

I did notice several of the inflections were different but honestly I was more than satisfied to get what we got. All I wanted in all honesty was the track "Big Send-Off" since ya know, it was featured in several of the trailers and was a HUGE point in the film but for some lame reason got left off the original album.

You're right about both of them. As you mentioned on that post, the Jack-seeing-Santa cue is actually missing and it should be in the very end of "What's This?" and the Mayor's cue is missing as well because it should be in the middle of "Doctor Finklestein/In the Forest" but instead it opens with Sally and Finklestein's conversation and then jumps to the scene where Jack finds the Christmas Town door.
