The TRON: Legacy soundtrack, composed and produced by the iconic and critically acclaimed duo, Daft Punk, was the highest charting score soundtrack in over a decade when it was released last December. On April 5, Walt Disney Records will release the remix album TRON: Legacy RECONFIGURED, which features an eclectic mix of acclaimed DJs, remixers and producers including M83, Photek, Moby, Com Truise, and others.

Now Indaba Music TRON: Legacy Reconfigured Remix Opportunity - Indaba Music (http://www.indabamusic.com/tron) is giving its community the chance to remix tracks themselves, with the grand prize winner��s track to be considered for airplay on internationally renowned radio station KCRW and featured on the KCRW Music Blog, as well as the chance for the winning mix to be released by Walt Disney Records. The winner will also receive an iPad2 and the TRON: Legacy original motion picture soundtrack deluxe vinyl box set. Ten runners-up will receive the TRON: Legacy original motion picture soundtrack deluxe vinyl box set.

Remixers can work with any of the three songs on the Indaba Music site, ��The Grid,�� ��Derezzed�� or ��End of Line,�� but mashups will not be accepted. There is no limit to the number of entries per person.

Submissions are due by April 27, 2011 at 5:00 PM EDT, and the online voting for 20 finalists ends May 11, 2011 at 5:00 PM EDT. Jason Bentley, the music supervisor for TRON: Legacy and also KCRW��s Music Director and Host of Morning Becomes Eclectic, will listen to submissions to determine the Grand Prize Winner, and will select the 10 runners-up from the 20 finalists as chosen by the Indaba community.

Is Idaba perhaps hosting FLAC files of the three songs included in the contest for people to remix?

I am downloading and unzipping now to see what they are.

Yes they are the songs wit isolated instruments. I wish they would have added fall, i would of loved to get rid of the loud synth part

I've unzipped.

The files are for Derrezzed, The Grid, and End of Line - but each song is broken down into layers, so the folks doing the remixing can play around with them. It's pretty cool if you can work with them, actually, but to us laymen, not terribly exciting.

It can be if you want to isolate some instruments. :)

Thanks for this, i remember there being one for the casino royale trailer music, which was cool to play with. Only wish they had given us the track CLU in this - then we could have edited a version like it plays in the movie. Maybe at least we can get a good quality non-vocal version of The Grid.

And The Game Has Changed and Rinzler. Would love to have gotten those stems. Thanks to OP for sharing these.

Well, thanks to the tracks from 'The Grid' i've been able to edit a movie version of 'Recogniser' since it uses the same backing beat in the movie version as the lead in.
