The Sweeney : Library Music From Season 4 (RapidShare AG, Cham, Switzerland (http://rapidshare.com/users/PP2Z9L))
The main theme tune to The Sweeney was composed by Harry South. Like many television series' of the time however, the incidental music used throughout the shows were taken from the various "Library companies".
This was a cheap way of having professionaly produced music without having to pay a regular composer to score every episode.
The various library tracks used were from the vaults of KPM, Bruton, Chappell etc
The vast majority of the tracks have no names because they were never intended for official release and never identified on the program credits.
There are just over 400 tracks here -
Enjoy
