It extracts the files but they are all 0k and I get an error...

Ok, my guess is that there's something's up with extracting tool that you're using (winrar? and that's what i used to rar them), try everything else like 7-zip, IZArc, and such or maybe reinstalling winrar will help. But the files inside the container are fine.
