While apparently not widely announced, Ubisoft's rerelease of this game is also accompanied by a free soundtrack download direct from the proverbial horse's mouth (http://beyond-good-and-evil.ubi.com/beyond-good-and-evil-hd/en-US/photography/goodies/index.aspx).

According to VGMdb this soundtrack was originally released in 2003, it recently got a re-release because of the HD Remake. The link was:

That would be fantastic. Im a huge fan of the game. The music is simply a masterpiece.

It seems that there is no difference between the one released in 2003 and this one re-released recently on the site, anyway here is the link: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PM660XM2). This is the zip file as it was originally on the site with no modifications.

I took the liberty to reupload the archive to Mirrorcreator (http://anonym.to/?http://mir.cr/7KVYTNGP), since MU links tend to die pretty fast here. Thanks again for the share.

Bumping for appreciation, and also to ask:

Leon, is this the same archive that was up at Ubisoft's site? Because it has a Myspace link in the ID3 tags. Apparently it's from some guy who reuploaded the soundtrack and added that link to promote himself.

I'm downloading Kenshirhokuto's upload to make sure this is the same album.

It's the same archive reuploaded by Kenshirhokuto, I simply changed its name.

WOW. No wonder Ubisoft took it down. How lazy do you (Ubisoft) have to be to rip off someone else's reupload and try to pass it off as your own?

I appreciate the quick reply. :)

Thank you so much for this link, Kenshirhokuto. :-)

As for Ubisoft's downloading page, those damned crooked marketers have changed the full version for a "preview" version. Who on earth would like to have 1-minute-long tracks from a soundtrack? Jeez... :-/
