So, as the poll says, which platform gaming series (or game) did you enjoy the most? Was it Sega's centre piece, the Sonic the Hedgehog series, the game that spearheaded the Megadrive / Genesis system? Was it Super Mario Brothers, the centre piece of Nintendo's push into the gaming market? Or was it something else from the list (or something that my mind has failed to think of?) Also, tell me WHY you like the gaming series (or game) in question?
My favourite series was the Super Mario Brothers series. My first games console was the NES, and the first game I played on it was Super Mario Bros 3. The game, from start to finish, was fantastic. I loved every second of it, and when they re-made it for the SNES as part of the All Stars package, I had to go out and buy it again. It was the first game I played on a console, the first game I finished on a console, and one I shall remember fondly for however long I play games.
