It isn't a music track. My guess is that it's a SFX ingame.

Just because it's been put in the files as SFX doesn't mean it's not a music track. I'm gonna check up my Lords of Shadow directory and see how the files are stored in the PS3 version, if it's in any way ripable, I'll do it.

Ok, just checked the files. All audio files, dialogue, music, sfx are in ogg format. Just extracted everything, I'm going to go through the files today and find the Vampire Killer ones. Once I do, I'll post them here.

After deeper inspection, majority of SFX are encrypted FSB files, I'm checking what I can do about them since I've isolated the Vampire Killer track already, it's in FSB.

Sorry my mistake. Yes I did not read the previous posts to be honest. I am, on the other hand, not so familiar with the original name of the music box track, which is now appeared to be Vampire killer. Appreciate your efforts

I suppose I might as well post the one that I made for myself. It uses a screencap from the E3 debut trailer, with one of the "portrait" shots. It has a more traditional, Victorian-eaque feel that I think works quite well with the music itself.

Before we worry about uploading in another audio format, how about we just worry about getting the original re-upped first? Then you can just convert it to what you want.

Yes, thats why i was asking to be reuploaded. Mp3 its fine and with the OGG the range is 128-256... Everything its fine since its a dead upload.

Listen, if no one is able to upload this, I can provide my personalised two disc version, which is missing about 30 minutes of less interesting ambient tracks from the 3-disc rip. I don't have access anymore to the original files, but I can post mine in 320 kbps MP3, if anyone is interested. The total length is 2 hrs 14 mins. and IMO a better listen. Track titles are also the same. I equalized the volume on one or two tracks, because they were too damn loud.

Unfortunately, its a lot of good music that sounds horrible at that low bitrate that will probably never have the masters released.

i must say that among my favorite game scores, this probably ranks in my top 3!!! it has that grand orchestral elements in it. battle cues and melancholic tunes what more can i ask?. :D

and every once in a while the whole album gets into my playlist and stay there for a long time before it's next cycle.

it may not be the best quality, but for me, it's better than having nothing at all. i do hope a remastered released will see the light of day someday but until then i'll just sit back, relax and enjoy this epic score!

As a stand alone score this is really good. However with reference as to the feel playing in on the game i have no idea as i have not played this game or any other Castlevania games. With that in mind this is no where near perfect but is certainly in my view an awesome score for a game.

lol, Vampire Killer did sound like crap in Lords of Shadow. It was a weak music box rendition. I thought Vampire Killer was the only song. I never noticed Waterfalls, what track uses that song?

Andrees, how did you manage to rip the music box arrangement of Vampire Killer? Which are the right files in the game folder?

It's just line-in recording of my own. The game outputs audio in 5.1 and the Vampire Killer just happened to be on different channels than the rest of the audio.

That's what I tried to do myself, but there where sound effects and ambient in the background, how did you pull it off this clean?

Digital out and captured the audio, isolated the audio and that's it.

UPDATE: Re-Uploaded and added "Baba Yaga's Music Box".
