Simple from the thread title. What was the last television series you watched on DVD (and the season/series number, if applicable), and which have you been watching currently, if any?

The last one that I watched was 24: Season 8. I'm a big 24 fan and I thought it was a great end to this series. DVD set had some nice special features too, including extended episodes and a look at the making of the New York CTU.

Currently watching Red Dwarf: Series One. I was heavily into Red Dwarf, back when it was airing on PBS in the United States, but I never actually saw the first series. I'm familiar with the mythos from the novelizations, but this is the first time actually watching it from the beginning. Great bonus features on this one too, including cast commentary on every episode (and crew commentary for the first one as well) and many other goodies and Easter eggs.

Last season watched: True Blood Season One. I'd never seen it and it came highly recommended. Since then, Just the first season of The Walking Dead.

Well The Last TV series that I had watched was " American Idol season10 " and Currently watching " Big Bang Theory " .

Rewatched Spartacus and am now watching Walking Dead.

Currently watching True Blood Season 1 on dvd and loving it - also loving Breakout Kings on tv.

Im watching How I met Your Mother season 5 and Mr. Sunshine season 1 right now and the last one i watched was Community season 1.

Last one I finished was Dexter season 3, working on Dexter season 4 now.

Through Netflix watched seasons 1-3 but decided to buy all the seasons up to now after that.

I've only seen the first 3. Season 2 was my favourite so far.

I really enjoyed the Doakes storyline

I recently finished Dead Zone S1. It started slow but by the end of the season (13 eps) it started to reference it's beginnings and a story arc began to develop, and I realised that I was really enjoying it. :D

I have S2 and will start it either tonight or tomorrow.

I have been watching the Perry Mason TV Series with Raymond Burr. Just finished season 3, about to start season 4. These are terrific mysteries, some based on stories from the books, more whodunit than court room theatrics, although often a mixture of both. My parents watched these shows and loved them. Now I guess I'm following in their footsteps. I'm hooked too. Just because they were filmed in black and white, please don't pass these by. Since many episodes are shot in los angeles in the early 1960's it's great to see the city before it became over developed. Also it's great to see all the old cars. Fun stuff!

making my way through scrubs, up to season 4 again, i tend to watch that show all the way through again and again, my go-to show; also waiting for the first episode of the 4th season of misfits tonight. rudy and curtis are still involved which is a mistake in my opinion; with nathan long gone and simon and alisha's story finished at the end of last season, and kelly not involved since she got in trouble IRL, they should have done a skins and used an all-new cast, if they were going to continue at all. buuut, maybe it'll be interesting nonetheless and hopefully funny anyway, we'll see;

i'm also watching the second seasons of homeland and fresh meat. i really like homeland because i think it deals with a really sensitive plot in a surprisingly even-handed and non-jingoistic way, and it's really well acted and compellingly written; fresh meat meanwhile is lollerskates. peace

DVD? In these days of Netflix and Apple TV, my DVD player see very little use indeed.

I did watch Dexter. But got off it due to distraction by shows like Revenge and Walking Dead. But rather than resume Dexter, I will re-watch it from Season 1 as there are things I don't remember. Fringe just ended and just when I was about to start watching it as it aired lol so I guess I'm gonna just g from the beginning.

Game Of Thrones.....same as you. Same applies to Breaking Bad.

I own the blu ray releases of these shows rather than the DVD's. These shows were originally aired in HD and blu rays are in HD, unlike the DVD. Better quality too.

I purchased Hell on Wheels and Archer on Bluray for Christmas. So it's been an episode here and an episode there of both series.

I think it's cool to a have a more serious and darker version of Scooby-Doo since I'm older now. I'm re-watching season 1 again since I missed season 2, and will watch it after season 1.
