Has anybody enjoyed this game as much as I have? I haven't heard much about it on here. I think it is highly underrated.

If you have not yet played this game, save up some money and purchase an original copy of the PS1 version (or buy on PSP). Overall, this has to be one of the most fun, original, and addictive turn-based RPG's I have ever played. The gameplay is simply outstanding. It incorporates combo moves and special attacks; it's very unique from traditional turn based RPG's. The choice of using many different characters makes it a very non repetitive game with new actions always taking place. Also, it has some of the nicest graphics I have seem on PS1. It's 2011, and i'm still outstanded by the graphics. They use lush, hand drawn backgrounds. The story is pretty good, not great, but still worthy. I heard the voice acting has gotten a lot of knock, but I find it awesome. The music is also very good.

What is you opinion if you have played this game? How'd you like it?

I played the game & didn't finished it, though I reached the final dungeon or at least I think I have (Ragnarok).

At first glance I thought the game was truly awesome, the voice acting was top for some characters.
The Narration is interesting & some characters have a nice background.

The graphics, weren't that particularily that surprising to me. But they are aesthetically beautiful & very artistic. I remember the camp with the flowers at the beginning.

I really enjoyed the game in the beginning & it was an amazing experience, the Battle System was fun & fresh for it's time, it was the combination of FF with Tales.

But as the game progessed I grow tired of it. It was dungeon after dungeon after dungeon after dungeon after dungeon.
The battles turned repetetitive & in the last dungeons were overwhelmed with mobs, awkward platforming & the battles were long and boring in the end.

The level of the Homunculus pervert guy, was so fucking long, dense, hard & dull. :S

So dropped the game at ragnarok, because I've had enough that.

So the story itself wasn't worth the effort IMO, it was pretty straightfoward & the characters were the only ones that made it interesting.
And Frankly I don't the like Anime + NorseMythology formula.

It's not a bad game by all means. It's a JRPG with it's peculiarities & with a nice battle system.

If the dungeons were more interesting & more rewarding for exploring, it could be a top notch game. But the game only shines because of it's artistic direction, in art & the insight of the voice acting combined with the narration.

Gameplay-wise, if it wasn't that dull in the platforming part & if the battles were more varied, I wouldn't have any problem with it.

If somebody is spamming, just ignore and report, don't draw attention to it by responding. They're not a troll, they're just a spammer, and that's all.

I played the PSP version and was impressed.

I love this game and wish they would make a game about Hrist. They made one about the youngest sister, how bout the oldest?
