Using OrangeC's rip, I have made an "original soundtrack" for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. The rip contains 16 hours of music; this complete soundtrack is approximately 12 hours. As I used playthroughs on Youtube in order to identify and construct the track order, I may have missed some of the required mixing, but I identified and mixed tracks to the best of my ability with the time I had available.

IMO....un-necessary to do the best track collection. Why?
1. After all the work that was put into making this OST.
2. Questions of how come this/that was left out
3. People who download this can come up with their own best track collection themselves.....something I am planning to do myself.
4. Least important.....Best track collection wasn't done for the MUA1 OST.

You do seem to have a minor hiccup in the music at about the 1:05 mark in the Main Theme on disc 1, though...if you've got time, might want to fix that.

However, if that delays the rest of the packets getting uploaded, don't bother until you're done.:D lol

Yeah, the Pause Theme is the best that I could get. For some reason, it was not part of your rip. I've listened to every track many times, so I don't think it's possible that I somehow missed it.

Edit: Discs 4 - 12 (except for 7) are now up. I'll upload Disc 7 after I fix one of the songs, since I decided I was not happy with it.

Yes, some stuff is "missing." A twelve hour soundtrack is pretty huge, let alone a sixteen hour one. Aside from the length of the soundtrack, it just makes sense to cut some tracks, and for two particular reasons: First, some tracks I did not hear when using Youtube playthroughs to identify tracks and their order. And second, some parts of the soundtrack are probably repetitive as it is; after all, many of the tracks on a given disc that correspond to a given area of gameplay are variations of one theme. If I included absolutely everything, it would be even more repetitive.

I can easily be persuaded from doing a "best of" compilation, and for your first reason: I have already spent a long time working on this. As for making other complete OSTs, I suppose it's not out of the question. But I'm not a ripper. I restrict myself to working from completed rips.

You're welcome. I'll take a look at the Main Theme. Like the Pause Theme, I got it from someone else (a user on Youtube). I used his version since it was an extended version. If there is in fact a problem with his (that I did not previously notice), I can upload an alternative version.

I just wanted to say something very quickly. Thank you for seriously making my day for doing this. I have been searching high and low for this soundtrack, even would have bought it if they ever released a OST for this game. I fell in love with this soundtrack from the second I heard the main menu, team select...and my two most favorites in Washington D.C. and Captain America chase... Thank you so much for doing this again....you have made someone you don't even know or will ever know one of the most happy persons on the planet. Thank you again!

u need to google the difference between rude questions & asking questions nicely pal cuz you're obviously not clear on it. how is it rude? i wasn't being offensive. If I cursed him & said something like "how can you post a rip saying it's complete when things are clearly missing." Asking that would be rude. I was just asking Orange why The Pause Menu theme was missing from his rip just because I was curious. I never asked him to re-rip it with the Pause theme included because I do not expect him to as ripping is a hell of a lot of work as it is.

I don't have the time to download it yet, but you can be sure that, with me, this complete rip is highly appreciated!

A rip had been done last year, but the file format was not compatible with WMP and there was no track listing so it was a nightmare to guess what was what...

I didn't really notice how quiet it was while working with it on my computer. It wasn't until I put it onto my PS3 and mp3 player that I really noticed it.

if u do that, can u just keep the original tracks u made & then have the added loops and other altercations as separate tracks (as it "alternate edit" tracks). because i dont see the need for it. it was perfect the way it was.

I wouldn't say that it was perfect. There are only a few tracks that have any significant alterations aside from giving them an additional loop. The changes I've made are an improvement, I'd say.

I'm adding comments after the "version 2" link that indicates what changes have been made. All tracks have been amplified. Most tracks have an additional loop. Even if you can't tell by listening, you can easily tell by the track length. Tracks that were a minute or so are now three minutes or so; all tracks that were two minutes are now four minutes. Just about any of the boss battle tracks that used two tracks combined into one have been split into two (unless I could get the tracks combined "perfectly"). The track list will reflect a track addition. Though, really, the only boss battle track that combines two tracks that I am completely happy with is "Tinkerer Battle" on Disc 12.

I've added the new, final version of Discs 1 and 2. The others will follow.

any changes to the Tinkerer Battle Phase 2? If there was gonna be one, i'd have to say make it longer. 5mins, a good length, is just not enough for such an awesome track.

I did not make any changes to that particular track, but I can always add another loop and upload it separately.

I've had that problem. But not with MU. I LOVE MU. It's fast & their Premium account prices aren't bad . Besides that, unlike some other services, with MU, you don't need to enter any captchas which I'm sure you've seen before. Fileserve is fast too. Aside from the captcha, I like Fileserve too.
