"Bad Moon Rising" is NOT the one done for the movie. I don't know where this one came from, but there was a soundtrack released when the film came out with the correct version. They got some John Fogerty sound alike, and it was CLOSE, but any Creedence fan would be able to tell the difference. This one is not even close! Sorry! Let me ammend that, cause I just saw that there are many different versions, so I will shut up until I listen to the WHOLE album! :)

the Bernstein music is GREAT! Never before released, and about 19-20 minutes of it, really terrific! Thanks.

Interesting...what is this? I suspect it is the Mecho release as Bernstein didnt do much music to the movie (max 10 minutes)
Is it homemade?
Anyway I must have a look...mucho thanks :)

An expansion on a score that was 7 and a half minutes long, all of which was released a few years ago ... I have to say I'm a little skeptical since I have that same score with all other song and supplementary stuff including Meco's 'Impressions' ... hmmm if you've got new stuff then my hat is definitely off to you, it just means that a lot of my hard work on putting the best collection could have been in vain ... I'll definitely give you a listen

Well, after hearing all three parts, the only one that really was good was part one! The rest, I don't know where it came from, but it seems like everyone who ever recorded a werewolf song, or something of that nature, it was put here. I have no idea why they are listed as alternate and unused cues! Just another fan production, but you could have taken part one, and mixed it with Meco's version, you would have a fairly good soundtrack!

Agreed, I can't see where parts 2 & 3 have come from and this is coming from someone who knows the movie inside outside ... I don't mean any disrespect to you, talmadge but part 1 is the only one that works ... you'll understand when my efforts have been released ... apart from that, it's a good attempt

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but that is NOT a promotional anything. It's simply my rip of the rear (or was it front) left and right channels of the 5.1 soundtrack from the DVD. And i mean MY rip. Whoever did these covers didn't even bother to change the track titles. For those of you that have this available, check out the tracks Jack tells a story part I and II. I had to raise the volume on those two pretty bad so the quality is not good. I tried to fix it as best i could with Audition, but... I added the songs from wherever i could find them and unless someone exchanged them for better quality versions, you should be able to see the difference in Auditions Spectral Frequency View

And naturally i'm talking about the Bernstein score as it is listed on those covers (plus 2 extra tracks at the end)

why rip it from front OR rear...the whole music is there without SFX during the photogallery on the DVD and it is where it comes from and the person who took itedited the pieces into tracks but also left the whole thing as a medley.
If it is like you said, your track names cudos to you but I think the names are only identifying the scenes theyre in...
This rip has been around since 2006-2007 atleast and I think I found it at a place called Master cylinder (or it was that guys former page)

And that is what you think. The suite is as you say playing while you watch the photogallery and the length of it is 3 minutes and 44 seconds, but that is NOT the whole music. The music as i ripped it and as it is playing in the movie is all there in tracks 1-16 (the score parts themselves clocks in at 7 minutes and 25 seconds) and does NOT come from that suite and is NOT edited into tracks from it. I added the suite right after that as track 17. Tracks 18 and 19 are added by someone else after that. Thank you for that as it is always nice to get more tracks related to a score.

Other info - The track 1-16 contains music as it is heard in the movie and is NOT a part of that suite. The rip has been around since 2003 since that is when i made it. I might get around to that editing part as you called it, if nothing else then just to get higher quality on those tracks that deserve it (thanks for that tip), but as i said, some music is NOT part of that suite and can therefor not receive the same treatment. Of course the track names only identify the scenes they're in, what else would they identify? Anyway, that's how i named them (i know, a bit unimaginative).

Sorry about the rant, but claiming i DIDN'T do this rip kinda ticks me off.

I have always wondered what this socalled 30th anniversary thing is and it is nothing more than a fan compilation of covers of the songs featured in the movie and includes the Bernstein track metamorphosis that was rejected from the movie (they used Bad Moon by Dam Cooke instead) I dont know if Lycantrophy Lunacy is something from Bernstein as the themes sounds like the original (same as the medley from the DVD), but the beginning of that track sounds fanmade.
A cool fan made thing , but nothing real or expanded from the earlier posted things...
Track 3 (half of it and you can clearly hear the edit in sound too), 6 ,7 ,9 (half of it) and 11 the Pornomusic are the only REAL AWIL music featured in the movie...

The real Blue Moon song is performed by Bobby Vinton (beginning) Sam Cooke (during the metamorphosis) and Marcells (at the end)
Bad Moon Rising by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Moondance by Van Morrison

Just a heads up for you guys :)

and thanks to Calidoran if he was the one ripping the true Bernstein tracks back in 2003 :)
