Yeah, I was ripping the PC version themes but the quality is lacking.
Forutnately, I figured that the PSX version is the same(!) so I ask if somebody can upload the music from Top Gun 1. I don`t have a PSX but apparently, the music can be played/recorded etc from the disk - I cannot confirm this but this example seems to be bring awesome results:

It is the same music in the PC version, usually played while flying from Waypoint to Waypoint in the first Miramar missions. Cruise music :)
