Question: Is this different from Symphonic Fantasies: Tokyo? I've seen that and the track list looks identical.

This question has been asked a couple of times but in another thread, but anyway...

It's basically the same music. The Tokyo version has significantly revised and improved orchestrations, a quiet audience (how nice that the Japanese audience don't feel it necessary to guffaw like drunken rednecks every time they hear a snatch of One Winged Angel,) a superior performance, and a better quality recording. (And it has the not-particularly-good-but-fun Final Boss Suite, which was omitted from the WDR recording due to time constraints.)

It's definitely the one to get. not that there's anything explicitly wrong with this one - it's very good indeed... but Tokyo is an improvement.
