I thought it was Paul Clemente. That's how I've had it in my iPod forever!

Nicolai used the pseudonym Clemente!

Why did he have the need to do that? Do explain?

I wish I knew! Some people say it was because of the film's subject matter (see this discussion:

I'm not so sure that was the sole reason - after all he did score some very raunchy films by Jess Franco using his own name. Bruno Nicolai was indeed a very private man. You can count on one hand the number of photographs of him that are in the public domain. Unfortunately the man himself is long dead so I guess we will never know for sure the real reason he chose to use that pseudonym.

Yes, it was released in 1979 and had two variants...R rated and XXX rated. I had the XXX version on beta tape many years ago.

This is awesome, one of those Holy Grails that I've been searching for to add to the ever-growing collection. Thanks so much for the re-upload...

The reason that Clemente chose not to use his name was the same reason that Gore Vidal took his name off the screenplay. After the film was shot Guccione went into the studio with a bunch of Pets and pron actors and shot all the hard core stuff and edited it all in. Vidal, Clemente and the original editor all quit and demanded their names be take off the film. (The film was pretty rotten either way.) Back then, it was considered porn and all the mainstream talent was furious wit Guccione for what he did but hey, it was his film and they all got paid.

I was in high school when this was released and I worked in a video store part time. My boss got a hold of a bootleg about a week after the film came out. WOW! I had one of the only video recorders in the neighborhood and I became very popular.
