Anyway....I'm quite surprised by the difference in the sound quality when you compare the OST to the extracted ATRAC rips from the game. The soundtrack tracks sound a lot more crisp, A LOT more crisp....I'm definitely glad I got this.

Nope, my scanner is busted. But just look at the tags....It's got all the correct composer tags per track, I've used the composer info from the OST.

Sekito and Ishimoto actually did lesser tracks then I (and probably most of you) anticipated. Most of it is still by the beautiful miss Shimomura!!

The Mysterious Figure battle theme is called "Dark Impetus."

I feel like we're missing something...I think there was another song in Re:Coded that I didn't recognize. It was like a "tension music" that played during a few cutscenes, mostly between worlds, and also I think during the second platforming segment (the one where you fight Maleficent at the end), though it's possible that was actually another song. Maybe it wasn't on the OST? Or maybe it's actually from KHI and I just forgot. In any case, it plays at the beginning of this video:

I'm still really surprised about the song "Xehanort". I was SURE that was referring to the song that actually turns out to be called "The Key of Darkness". "Xehanort" is just a remix of Strange Whispers from KHI, as it turns out. Weird, and disappointing, too.

You just have be patient and try another time, this happends a lot with Megaupload. They temporarily cut of the download.....I don't know why exactly....but for me it always works when I try it a second or third time (with a reasonable time period in between).

It's VBR quality, each bit of the song is encoded at the highest bitrate it needs. 320kbps CBR is pointless, you only get a uselessly bigger file, even from a lossy point of view.

I think it's because it's from Shimomura's Drammatica soundtrack. Like... the last minute of the track but it sounds like it haha.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but could someone upload to somewhere other than Megaupload? That site gives me nothing but problems whenever I try to use it.

I agree with MysticDreamer on one thing: If you reupload those at MU, they'll be deleted again in 24 hours.

All of the DS-exclusive tracks were remastered for the OST.

Necrotek's other source is fine, they're also on MU, but the download is soooooooooooo slow, at least for me! No chance to download it there, sadly.

Actually, they were not remastered. It's the same thing just not being ran through DS's midi instrument set. Hence why people can think that DS had many other tracks like This is Halloween and so on rearranged for it, while in reality it were all KH2 versions dumbed down to DS's audio synthesizer.

It seems some people are having trouble downloading this. I still have the original files McGlynn uploaded and I can reupload them anywhere you want, just say where.

I have the original upload that the OP put links to, and I can upload that to some other sites if people want. However, I didn't care for the tags as they were and changed them to my liking for my library so that might be a problem for some people. Bolded for emphasis because I know someone would bring it up later that the tags were changed. These would be the VBR files.

Also, I got Discs 1 & 3 from the new source (Disc 2 just won't download for some reason) and can also upload those if people want. These are the 320 bitrate files.

Same over here, that disc 2 on Sakurahana is not coming through. It takes ten minutes to get through 1%, then aborts the download. Some other link would be appreciated greatly.

Would it be possible to have them uploaded to rapidshare or mediafire? My problem isn't so much that the links aren't working for me, but rather that megaupload won't let me download anything at all. It keeps saying that I'm currently downloading an AVI file even though I haven't downloaded anything off there for months and can't remember the last time I downloaded an AVI file from anywhere.

Sorry to ask this in an other topic, but I don't know how to privately contact you to.
