Konio755, Do You Have Front Cover Collector Edition Original Soundtrack ?

This soundtrack is awesome, just like the first one! It even has the creepy elementary song! That one caught me by surprise first time I heard it. There are some songs missing though, i think, not from the disc. They just released another edition of the soundtrack on Amazon and iTunes that has a few other songs not on the collector's edition. There are some of the same though too. Thanks for offering this! I picked up my copy of the collector's edition game yesterday!

I hope so, my copy is staring at me at the moment. I love the front box art, also I love that new game smell (manual fresh press smell).

konio755, there is some minor typo in the Artist tag for the mp3 tracks. The Artist's name is Jason Greaves. It is supposed to be Jason Grave.

I'm curious as to what people find enjoying about this kind of music. I played through both Dead Space games and the music struck me as your typical/situational discordant strings coupled with ear-grating sounds - not something I'd ever *casually* listen to, but it works within the context of the game.

So, why do you all listen to it?

Actually I've been under the same impression since Dead Space 1.

Thought not every horror/dark sci-fi game has a soundtrack that doesn't do well as a stand alone product. System Shock 2 for example is a gold standard of how one should make a dark cyberpunk music. ...yet the soundtrack was never officially released.
