Notes
-----
This is the probably one of the most insane Game Music rips I've ever done. Not only was everything in 6 Channel Audio, but there were also certain Battle and Menu BGM where they're split into multiple pieces. It's like this so the music can change based on what's happening in the game. Putting everything together is the real hard part for making a complete song, especially when you're depending on how it is from the actual game. I've listened to the game through headphones back to back and compared what I've constructed for everything. This is as close as perfect it can get, unless someone finds some other type of tool.

--------
V2 Notes
--------
I've taken sometime to better improve things.
-Ryuusei no Namida should loop twice as opposed to three loops.
-Esperance (Medley Version) should go into Type 1 to 3 better now.
-The sound of the BGM should also be improved as all 6 Channels are mixed, instead of cutting it into Stereo. You'll notice certain instruments better than before in certain BGM.

--------
V3 Notes
--------
Just after ripping the first two games, I've tried to better implement things in this revision. There shouldn't be any real noticable changes here though. This should be the final release in terms of the BGM that won't need anymore revisions.

--------
V4 Notes
--------
The following BGM was corrupt due to an external HDD malfunction and have been fixed, thanks to Anonymous on my Blog for pointing it out to me.
-Brave Soldier (Type 3)
-Accelerating Time (Type 1)

It looks like most of the first disc is music from various shows and movies, but the second disc is original. Do you know who composed the original stuff? Of the non-original tracks, do you know which ones go with which shows? Some I can tell just at a glance, but others, not so much.

It looks like most of the first disc is music from various shows and movies, but the second disc is original.I figured it would be best to split it into multiple discs due to how long it was, better for organization purposes I thought too.

Some I can tell just at a glance, but others, not so much.I wish I did, I'll have to find that information and translate them from the game's Staff Roll somehow. It also says which ones they're from in the actual game, so I set it like that in the tag Comments, under the Serial Numbers for the games. The Original BGM all says "ガンダム無双3".

I would love to get a list of who did what and put those in the original composer field, especially from the different series. I was really focused on getting it done under a certain deadline. I'll definitely have to look into it though, and see if there's a way I could make an Xdelta patch for all the newly tagged fields once I do get the time to find everything I need.

I can help you with a lot of that. The comment notes make this a lot easier. If you haven't seen it, you might want to check out this site (http://www.sybpress.com/Gundam/gundam_music_index.htm), for information about individual albums.
Did you pick the track titles, or did they come with the rip?
For some reason it seems to be really hard to find composers of the newer Gundam games. I don't know why.

I've contacted someone that can help me translating a Snapshot I took of the part where it says Sound Designer. We might be in luck. Then I can see about making an XDelta Patch

Sound Designer is the guy working on sound effects. A Music Editor, if it has one, will the guy who arranged the already existing Gundam music, but will not have actually composed any new stuff. It is possible, by the way, that it has NO new music, but uses music from earlier games. (They apparently recycle a lot.) However, the credits around him might have music. I've tried to no avail to find out what term they use to define composer with their games. Whoever it is will have other music credits. (As opposed to game credits,) If you have a frame grab, I'd love to see it.

I'll double check and make an edit if I do see anything though. It's also possible that there's certain characters I can't read that have music in them in Japanese. T_T

Okay, here's what I've got.

Just below the credit for sound designer is one for composer.
The credits left and right below it are:
Shin-ichiro Nakamura (中村新一郎)
and
Masato Koike (小池 雅人)
Both are confirmed to be composers who have worked for Koei.

the last credit (藤井美希) is apparently for Miki Fujii, who is either
a) a singer with no credits related to games or Gundam, or
b) one half of an amateur porn duo, who is only connected with Gundam by the way of fanboy blogs. So I don't know where to go with that.

Anyway,
hopes this helps,
JonC

I'm almost done with both Gundam Musou 1 and 2's BGM through their PS3 Versions. Japanese Region of course. :)

I love these prolific composers!

While doing Gundam Extreme Vs. (Thread 101734), I've realized I could do these a lot more better than I previously did. I've tried retaining the 6 Channel Audio as best as I could with a custom way of making the BGM Stereo, and not just spliced channels. Some errors were also fixed with 2 tracks.

Ryuusei no Namida: Originally had 3 loops instead of 2.
Esperance (Medley Version): Better transition from Type 1 to 3.

I was really happy when I found this thread, but it seems that I can't download it. It's saying this "The file you attempted to download is an archive that is part of a set of archives. MediaFire does not support unlimited downloads of split archives and the limit for this file has been reached.
