For Your Consideration Promo issued by Paramount Pictures

27 Tracks... while some of the cues presented in the official soundtrack album appear here, they're presented in lenghtier format, as well as alternates and bonus tracks not present in the album or itunes edition.

The track "River Crossing", the highlight of the film soundtrack only appears in this promo, since the official cd has a cue called "River Crossing", but it doesn't represent the f�ctico music played in the film, much like what happened with the track "The Buffalo Hunt" from Dances with Wolves.

does anybody knows who/where is the original source of this "FYC" promo?
I'm not giving a lot of credibility to this release because, from the files that I downloaded some days ago [I suppose this is the same]:

I don't see the point on repeating the same tracks and misspelling them if it's an "original" FYC. I mean, Carter Burwell or somebody from Paramount staff should have done it, and if you're looking for an oscar (not anymore), you don't do these mistakes, isn't it?

Well, maybe is just me, and these tracks are alternate versions; and I am so deaf that can't diferenciate between them.
Any other opinions?

It's available on Paramount Pictures' official Academy Awards Nomination website (Paramount Pictures (http://www.paramountguilds.com/#/true-grit/score)). So it's pretty much legit.

Finding some other users who are wanting the same item shouldn't be so difficult, each contributes $40-$60 and then you buy it.

The prices are high but I think for a good reason. Otherwise, why do you think someone will spend millions for a painting by Picasso ?
It's not so different with those rar cds, which are not available in any cd store!

You, Wildwood and myself all pitch in and buy an FYC on eBay. The total price is $120.00. Wildwood contributed $60, I contributed $40, you contributed $20. You and I both really really want the disc, physically. Wildwood does not want the disc, but contributed the most, so that's kinda unfair. It would then make sense for me to get it next, but you want it to. What then? Can someone upload it and share it with everyone for free? Yes. But who gets the actual thing? I could let it go and allow you to have it. But surely in this type of situation, others would bitch and wine about not having it. There are a lot of children on here. Only in a perfect world would this situation work

A painting by Pablo Picasso is one thing. An FYC listed for several hundred dollars is another.

Well, the user who contributed the most can decided who will get the disc, of course. He can keep the disc to himself or give it to someone else. But, I would suggest that the disc should be sold again so that all users can get some money back. But that should be determined in advance so that the other users will know if they will get some money back or not. The other users would only get a lossless rip - after all they get the item in lossless and they didn't had to spend the complete $120. In your example the user who gave $60 gets 50% back (because he gave $60 out of $120), you 33,33% ($40 out of $120) and the user who contributed $20 gets 16,66% back. I would say that is the easiest way to get some rar high priced items on ebay.

Of course, this only works if you trust each other.
