2011 is shaping up to be a great year with all the games coming out. So far, I'm waiting for the following:

Dynasty Warriors 7 (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/japanese-debut-dynasty-warriors/708103) - I've been a ardent fan of this series since I purchased Dynasty Warriors 3 (after playing the abysmal Lord of the Rings The Two Towers game >.<), and this could hopefully redeem the series... after the sixth installment failed.

Dragon Age II (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-extended-dragon-age-2/703489) - I loved Dragon Age: Origins (plus Awakening and the other DLC... though the Golems of Amgurrak DLC is a b*tch), so I'm looking forward to this one. While it may not tie in with Origins (that I know of. I could be wrong), could still be a good title.

Mass Effect 3 (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/vga-10-mass-effect/708363) - One of my top three favorite games, the Mass Effect series is one I thoroughly enjoy and have played multiple times. This is gonna be a great one.

Elder Scrolls V Skyrim (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/vga-10-elder-scrolls/708369) - I admit, I wasn't a fan of the earlier titles in this series, but Oblivion changed that. Been considering looking for the earlier titles, so this could be a good one as well.

Star Wars The Old Republic (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-2010-star-wars/101162) - The only other MMO I'm going to play alongside FFXI... though I may leave that for this one.

Saints Row 3 (http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/705949/saints-row-3-detailed.html) - The first was a good game, nothing to write home about... but the second was awesome imo. No matter how many times I finish this game, I can easily go replay this and enjoy it.

Well... those are only six titles I'm waiting for (already started pre-orders for them... I know, I'm an idiot) at the moment. There'll probably be more which will interest me, but these six are at the top of my list so far.

So, What games are you looking forward to this year?

My most anticipated games are Disgaea 4 and Catherine, which seem to get more awesome every time new information comes out about them. I'm also really psyched for Pokemon Black and White. There are a few other games that I'm probably picking up, but I'm not hyped about them in the same way as those 3. Hopefully Atelier Totori will get announced for NA so I can be excited about that too.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Catherine (hopefully), whatever they call this year's Assassin's Creed game (and there will be one if Ubisoft's excitement over initial Brotherhood sales is any indication), inFamous 2 and Persona 2 on the PSP.

That game is coming out this year? I had no idea. It looks like they had just started development on it when that video was released, and I thought it was going to take at least another 2 years for it to be complete.

Uncharted 3, and any game you are talking about the release of Assassin's Creed next year. That's it. My interest in serious games has decreased recently, so I'm just doing my wet crotch of nowhere.

Only real info I've seen on Downpour says it's out in 2011! Wouldn't be surprised if it got bumped back to next year, though.

Ah, and I'm also now looking forward to Child of Eden.... since I've read that it could be played without the friggin kinect, I wants me a copy.

And unless the Ace Attorney games of AAI2 and PWvPL get announced this year, that's legitimately all.

At the moment, all I'm really anticipating is Dissidia Duoduciem 012 Final Fantasy and FFIV Complete Collection (both for PSP), and Star Wars: The Old Republic (for PC).

I might get Dragon Age II eventually as well, but as I got bored early on with the first one I don't think the sequel would really have anything to grab me in either.

They're about the only games I'm really eagerly waiting for.

MotorStorm Apocalypse, Resistance 3, Uncharted 3 and anything the NGP has to offer if it's available in the US at the end of the year (which I doubt)

Still that Silent Hill one I'm afraid.

I'm looking forward to Skyrim since Oblivion was huge and high-quality. As for games I wanna see out of Japan, the sequel to Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon that they released in Japan but not in America.

HOLY CRAP! I had absolutely no idea that Tales of the Abyss is being ported to the 3DS!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna buy that too! Even though the release date got pushed back and I already have it on PS2, I'm still gonna buy it.

One thing about Saints Row The Third which has been confirmed that it won't have a multiplayer mode at all, that Volition is focusing on Singleplayer/co-op. Never really got into the multiplayer modes of the first two, so I like the idea of this. Slated for release in November.

Yes...the original Saints Row was a multiplayer abomination: no lobby, incredibly small population, and no penalty for team killers.

Strong Arm in Saints Row 2 was pretty awesome, but doesn't come close in comparison with Solo or Coop's awesomeness.

I'm actually kind of glad their focus is strictly story mode: probably means a more awesome campaign. I know I'm gonna love The Third, no question. The question is will I love it more or less than SR2? Only time will tell...

Anyway, nice to see another SR fan in here. I too, have repeated SR2 campaign countless times. So much effin fun.
