Thought I'd try something a lil new... enjoy :o I tried to write a story-ish 2 poems about two pplz - I've wanted to try this a long time and finally I did~

Mom

She lived her life from day to day
and grew so fond of love and care
you could see through to her caring soul
you knew she was loving,
you knew everything that was there...
Each breath she took was meaningful
each glance so sweet and beautiful
and her songs were sung throughout the air

always a smile on her bright face
Evil didnt bother her, nor any other pain
and tears were from joy of this life she had embraced...
The man she met was just as sweet
he made her feel childish, surreal.. complete
never was that beautiful smile foolish or a mistake
You knew her life was wonderful..

This strong woman had gone through alot
and yet no matter what was thrown at her
she still managed to be strong...
how long can walls of protection last?
how long can someone live while thinking of their past?
no one can heal after they've tried so hard to deal...
it was all so much to handle and like a spell misery was now cast

drugs were her answer to her miserable question of
how much more could she take..
every second then turned to misery
as her smile was now phoney and fake
She kept on living thinking only of her future
and with that came tears of pain...
this strong woman had her children
and now those children feel the same

Dad

All his childhood was happy
and he always gazed up to the skies...
his smile was so sweet and innocent
you could read it in his eyes

Growing up was hard and yet he made it through it all
protection was his high spirits, so of course he didnt fall
the scent of flowers filled his head as he gazed at an angel, so sweet...
who could have know this woman was his?
his to feel complete...

As they grew they fell in love and life was all a game
always they played around
and yet always they were tame
Trouble was around the corner
but for them it wasnt found -
until the day he found is sweet
lying weakly on the ground

who knew that life could change so fast?
as all you saw was tears...
who knew that happiness never lasts?
as you realized all your fears...

still this man lived his life, praying to be healed
and still his wife lay weak in sorrow as she had children til a yield
this man was happy with his young until he saw his way...
this man had died so horribly
and in Heaven shall he stay
Before he died he knew to love his life even if it was too late

I already knew about the events that happened in the poems but it was a great read either way. Keep it up! ^_^
