Great News, though it's about a week old if you navigated the subject. I wanted to make sure it would be confirmed by amazon first. Mitsuda gave the hint on twitter, so regardless:

Don't know about you all but this is one of the albums I await the most this year. ;D
It will feature the following tracks, orchestrated and re-arranged by Yasunori Mitsuda. The recording was handled in a Bulgarian Studio where Mitsuda worked on the Xenogears Ending Theme: "Small of Two Pieces ~Restored Pieces~". This will mark 13 long years that Xenogears was released, time sure passes. :D
I'm glad Flight was included as there was a voting held, but I wonder if it affected the songs list in any way. :p I think that voting in general, is rarely ever true to the reality. Therefore I am glad to agree to the surveying standards of Square-Enix's Economic Management Team for this once. 本当にありがとう。 :p
Now then, I seriously hope they will understand what kind of series they could make after Final Fantasy 13 Versus. Nothing too suggestive. But sure:
If ever released Xenogears 2 should be a prequel to Xenogears if you ask me,because the story was rather complicated and reading the Perfect Works booklet did really trigger my interest. Too bad it's light years away. Let's keep dreaming. :D
