Unfortunately there is an issue with multiple musical pieces composed by Kenji Yamamoto for Dragon Ball Kai.
The Toei Animation has officially recognized "the existence of multiple suspicious musical pieces which may infringe on the rights of third parties". They'll remove the background music composed by Kenji Yamamoto and replace them by those composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi (Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z). It seems only opening, ending and eyecatch are not concerned (not composed by him) and will be kept.

Yamamoto's plagiarism is absolutely nothing compared to the crime careers of Kanno and Amano... I don't quite understand the unusually heavy-handed approach here. They tossed the entire score and effectively ruined Yamamoto's career. WHY?

I have a fondness for the original scores too, but having them suddenly in Kai makes for a disjointed experience; not to mention the fact that they're very much of their time and Yamamoto's scores seemed to hit just the right spot for me.

Too many versions this album to download, but all of them fail at having at least a good quality. Thank you!.

I'd be very interested... it seems that the only version in circulation is the same atrocious 96kbps WMA rip that has been transcoded to just about every format in the universe and back again. Even a man with no ears would be able to tell that something is badly, badly amiss here. ;)

If you can't tell, then this gives me hope that it may be the genuine article. I'd love to hear your version and thank you in advance.
