Okay, here is some music that was discovered online, by Harry Lubin from Outer Limits (see my outer limits thread) and from "One Step Beyond" the TV show from 1959-1961, done by Harry Lubin, which was GREAT music. Here is a sample, and MUCH more to come!

Yes, right now they are mixed, but I will be seperating them, and adding more (MUCH more) to the OSB thread!

Hi, any ETA on OSB?

Williamtaylor1969

Well, you can download the above link, and just seperate the tracks yourself. I have completed the tracks for "Outer Limits" and renamed them to the episode names, but having more trouble with the OSB tracks. They are just named "Supernatural" parts 1 thru 7 right now, so you can plainly see what belongs to OL, and what belongs to OSB. Any track with a SPACE theme title belongs to OL!

I did download (using the above link) and enjoyed the OSB tracks. Was hoping that there would be more coming but I will separate as you suggest. Thanks.

Yes, there are still two and a half discs to go thru and download, rearrange, and upload to "Hotfile" which is screwing up right now. Having a hell of a time uploading the BTTF 2 disc 2, gets halfway thru the upload, and Hotfile says that it was uploaded okay, but it was not! Will have to try Multiupload next!

My computer has deleted my "Record what you hear" fuction, and I cannot find out how to get it back (Damned Microsoft CRAP)! Does anyone know? I had the icon in my "Recording" tab of my sound directory, thru Control Panel, but now I only have two listings for microphone! I have wasted about 2 weeks online trying to find an answer, but no luck.

Let me know, William

Well, I finally fixed the problem, went into my "repair" mode and took the computer back to a restore point in November!!!! That did the trick. Will start to dump the music off of the website this weekend, and post it here! :)

William

Thanks for all your hard work, William! Very much appreciated!

BTW, who the hell is Harry Lupin? (Well, I HAVE heard of some guy named Harry Lubin who did some remarkable scores back in the 60ies! :-) Okay, please correct the name, will you? After all, I had to remind VERISIMILITUDE already to spell George Duning correctly! (He called him "Dunning" all the time!)

Now, back to the music...

Thanks, Soundtrekker! :) I must have been "influenced" by that Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban movie, with "Professor LUPIN" person. I had just seen that movie, and I guess that name just stuck in my head. (I HATE getting old)!
All revisions made to his name!

Oh, no problem! I think that it is AMAZING, the fact that if you "Google" just about ANY word or phrase, you will come up with a band by the same name!! They actually have a band called "T'pring" who was Spock's "wife" in the TOS series! Really incredible!

Here's a Harry Lubin album called 'One Step Beyond'. I don't think it's an actual soundtrack of the show as such - more a collection of reorchestrated cues culled from various sources and built into suites. It opens with a marvellous version of 'Fear' (which seems to be known under various other guises such as 'Paranormal' and has also been recorded by Lubin in various other versions too). Anyway, enjoy.

VERY interesting music! Of course "Wierd" and "Fear" come from OSB, but these versions sound exactly like the record that was released from OSB. The rest of the music is totally unknown to me, but Harry Lubin has done ALOT of television music, and they could have come from just about anywhere. Also the rest of the tracks are not from a record, which sets Wierd and Fear apart from the group, since you can hear that they are from a record. I have no doubt that the rest of the music is NOT from OSB, but somewhere else. I will have to research Harry's music history a little bit to find out, and I'll let you know.

All links are dead. I DL OSB a couple years ago and all of the tracks were clipped for couple seconds at each start.
Thought I'd try these links to get a better copy, but no go.. Thanks anyway.

Not ALL the links are dead! Read the posts.

It's very hard to keep reupping these links, and then after a couple of months and you people don't download them, they get yanked! Can't keep redoing these all the time, hard to keep track!
The storage sites will delete any files that are not accessed in 6 months, so we cannot just let these stay untouched!

Apparently AMANDA has gotten JESSIE to demand that I remove all of my links, and it appears that AMANDA will be doing this on ALL of my future posts and links, so I will NOT be posting any reups on any links. You can PM Amanda and Jessie and thank them both!
