Can someone post a lossless version of The Watchmen (2009) film? It contains The Smashing Pumpkins song (forgot the name but it was used in the trailer). I know it is posted here. But I don't recall it being lossless & the Pumpkins song cannot be downloaded. I know. I tried 3x. If you want, you can just give me that song is lossless & I'll download the one that is posted already again if the links are still good. But I am pretty sure most will ask "Where's the rest of it?" so might as well just put the whole thing is lossless I figure.

yes i have that OST mainly 4 the Goo Goo Dolls song. But if you youtube the Watchmen trailer & listen to B&R ost, you'll notice that they're 2 different versions. SP couldnt put the song on their album as it was owned by WB so they remixed or re-did it for Watchmen. Don't take my word 4 it if you dont want 2. Youtube it 4 yourself.

Actually, there are two versions of that song on the Batman and Robin sndtrk. "The End is the Beginning is the End" is the big rock version played during the credits, and "The Beginning is the End is the Beginning" is the softer, darker version that only appears on the B&R sndtrk. It is that version, as Belacrix said above, that was used in the Watchmen trailer. I don't believe it was included on the Watchmen sndtrk, but not because of rights (iirc, Warner did both B&R and Watchmen, so it shouldn't have been a rights issue). But anyway, they were both recorded and used at the same time for B&R, they just chose to re-use the soft version ("The Beginning is the End is the Beginning") for the Watchmen trailers.

(iirc, Warner did both B&R and Watchmen, so it shouldn't have been a rights issue).
It's not that simple. There are many other factors at stake...

-What label were The Smashing Pumpkins on then? (Batman & Robin)
-What label are they on now? (Watchmen)
-Who owns the song writing credits?
-Who owns the publishing rights?
-Did the makers of B&R feel it was worth it to pay for the writing and/or publishing and/or (etc etc etc) rights to place the song on the album and the makers of Watchmen didn't?
-etc
-etc
-etc

Just a few examples, but you see it doesn't just come down to what label is releasing said album.
