Well, it is expanded from the official release, and there are alt tracks as well, wherever it came from. It is 320, but some tracks sound...harsh. Probably just my crappy speakers though.

Probably the poor speakers. But yes, the "expanded" Generations is fx riddled. Too sad, too.

This is VERY interesting I have a version that has 40 tracks, almost like the track listing on the above back area, but the time on my "Battle for peace" 1, 2, & 3 are MUCH longer than this copy. and tracks 39 and 40 are the "sign off", 2:32 and 1:11!! I will have to zip it up and put it over on the "Official" star trek thread! But then, this one came from the studios, so who really knows.

Great Soundtrack. Always thought Eidelman would have done more in his scoring career. Untamed Heart has some great cues

Thanks so much for this. I've wanted this score for years, and just now finally got around to getting it.

Ever since I was little when I watched this film for the first time (I was born a year after it premiered), I've always really enjoyed the main titles music. Personally, I feel Eidelman's score is in some ways far superior to Horner's (haven't listened to Rosenman's in awhile, so I can't judge that one yet).

For some reason, though, both this and the Generations link for Part 1 ends abruptly through zshare, I believe it is (which is a shame sense it is the fastest of the programs). Oh well.

All links seem to be gone. Any chance of a re-up? Rapidshare is best for me at the moment, I have an account. Would LOVE to have this.

Okay, the version I have, the Finale/Sign-Off track was corrupted. Segments of it are looped, other parts of it cut off prematurely. Is it just me?

Cliff Eidelman ~ Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country

I ripped this one from a CD with silly alternate track titles (like "Spock Grills Valeris" instead of "Mind Meld" or "Late Insights" instead of "Dining on Ashes") and some concert suite stuff and an imho amateurish rehearsing session (?) recording. But with its 35 tracks and its enormously bloated running length (over CD standard) it sadly misses the choir-version of Assassinations. You can surely find it somewhere else. (for example in the 256 kbps version above - along with other alternates ...)

The properly-pressed CD (subtitled "Expanded Original Motion Picture Score") bears the UPC "8885019912009" and the catalog number "STUC-19912009" from the label "Final Frontier Music". :)

Sinus, none of the download links have the full 35 tracks on it. Also, the zShare one is no longer available. Can you re-upload or have you sold your copy already?

That makes sense, but I admit that I am a bit OCD about being a perfectionist. Would it be possible to re-up it with even the suite tracks?

Currently not, no.
(But if you're such a perfectionist, you should search for the original sources for the bootleg part and the suites. :) )
