What's j00r favorite Ol' Skool Game? By "Ol' Skool", I mean mostly very old console games to semi-old console games. I guess if you really wanted to you could even put PS or N64 games. I don't really consider those consoles "Ol' Skool", but you can do what ya want.

In my view, FF7 is the best old skool game. It was out quite early on the PS. But it's still one of the best games around, and probably the best FF.

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">My favourite would have to be Bubble Bobble on the C64 (it was probably available on other systems aswell at the time). I hope other poeple remember this game, it was clearly great. I want to play it again now. :(

For those who don't know, you control this green dinosaur thing and you have to kill enemies by trapping them inside bubbles and then bursting them. It's really addictive once you start playing it. :D

For me its Zombies Ate my Neighbors for the SNES system, its not that old school I know but damn it was the original B movie game I wish Lucas Arts remakes this as a Resident Evil type game.

NES: Super Mario Brothers 3, Maniac Mansion, Metal Gear. All three hooked me to that system when I was younger. I remember staying up until 1am to finish SMB3.

SNES: Wing Commander (vastly superior than all the sequels), Super Mario Kart (absolutely blindingly addictive.)

GAMEBOY: Tetris ('nuff said, my first console game and the most addictive and long lasting game as I still play it now.)

MEGADRIVE (GENESIS, Whatever): Sonic The Hedgehog (another classic platformer), Shining Force 2 (the game that got me into RPGs.)

Special mention to the Commodore 64, I had a lot of games on it based on old cartoons that really were cool at the time.

NES: Super Mario Bros III, Bubble Bobble xD
SNES: Lufia II, Final Fantasty VI, Zelda: A link to the past.

I could go on if more of my brain was working and thinking.

NES: Any Zelda games, Bubble Bobble, Paperboy, Tetris, Contra, Castlevania
SNES: Zelda XD, Lemmings (I think that was for SNES, Super Mario RPG
Sega Genesis: All Sonic games, All Streets of Rage games

I really don't consider Playstation "old school", but those are the only systems that I had.

One of my favorite old school games is Super Metroid for super nintendo. Also Mario that game is easy to beat but it will always be one of my favorites. Just one more Kingdom of Dragons that game is so awesome I still have fun playing it even though we have knew systems.
