I imagine the End Credits could've come from the DVD or Bluray.

LOL at the comments there. They seem to have gotten it from here...

The scans they showed may have been from the retail CD. And in black and white, making it very difficult to see the actual results.

I'll have to check against the Suite, End Credits and Trailer Music, and any other music not found on the CD.

Audiochecker is found very questionable in ascertaining its lossless attributes.

auCDtect from TAU Software, might be a better tool to use than Audiochecker.

I believe I found out about auCDtect from the game section of this forum, a large debate on true lossless quality.

I'll post some Adobe Audition results after I check it out.

Thanks for this, the End Credits is worth it. The rest seem to be an edit of the retail CD, the suite included. I didn't do Adobe screenshots of the other tracks, they are lossless, just as the retail CD.

The End Credits is impressive, however. It isn't cut-off near the top.
But the Trailer Music looks like it's from a lossy source.

If you're using Jdownloader, it has issues with mediafire. The web browser is just as fast. you can try following the link and copy the 4 parts into JDownloader. It should load some of them, but you may still get loading errors in JDownloader. I was only able to download 3 of the 4 parts in JD and had to grab the last part in the web browser.

Mediafire is surprisingly fast... in the web browser.

I don't use jdownloader, I'm trying to dl it normally... it just keeps saying "working 0 seconds" and takes forever -__-

If they're FLAC files, you have to install a flac plug-in in order for Adobe Audition to read them properly. Or transcode the FLAC file to WAV (which lossless to lossless so it won't affect either the end results or quality).

Switch the view to "Spectral Frequency" to see where the audio cuts off.

yes the End Credits alone is worth getting this. I already bought the OST via iTunes so since the End Credits is the only thing worthy here, I'm gonna keep that & delete the rest. Sadly, the cue where Bruce goes down the elevator & opens his closet (after he tells Alfred, "Tell em that joke you know.") is missing. That would be damn good to listen to in lossless!!!

However, thanks for this. I wonder though if this is genuine lossless. There's been many times I have downloaded stuff that said it was FLAC however it was not genuine. I found the mp3 version of the Evil Empire (RATM) album on another site & listened to both downloads (mp3 & the one that was said to be FLAC) & then I listened to an actual FLAC album & I could tell that the RATM FLAC wasn't FLAC. It was just converted to that format. I do not know what the original format was though. When I asked, they said they didn't know.

These sites no longer exist.

@babydoll: RS shouldnt take that long unless u are using the free download & have to wait which u usually dont have 2 if u havent dloaded anything from there yet. if it takes that long once dload starts, your speed maybe slow because all my downloads finish super fast because of my Fios speed (dont know exactly how much it is but its really fast so worth the money for installation/bill IMHO).

I have a really fast iE connection through the cable company. But, still not able to open any of the mirror dl's. All of them give me "unexpected end to archive", and "unknown format"....

i have gotten that before. what i did was redownload the file & then it worked which meant 4 me that the message was received as a result of the 1st download being incomplete. try it. it's probably the same 4 u.
