Czech out: FLAC - Free Lossless Audio Codec (http://flac.sourceforge.net/)
This should help to play files in WMP. If not, swap to VLC or to a sophisticated media program, such as J.River Media Center (J. River Media Center software (http://www.jriver.com/)).

I downloaded and installed K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 6.6.0 (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/k_lite_mega_codec_pack.htm) and I can play just about any type of media.
